Interior design enthusiasts can rejoice! Italian luxury furniture brand Minotti’s latest collection has arrived in Hong Kong at contemporary lifestyle store Andante

A Minotti display at Salone del Mobile.

Fresh from a triumphant showing at Salone del Mobile, also known as Milan Design Week, Minotti was the talk of the town amongst those who attended with their booth. Spread across a 4,500 sqm exhibition space on two levels, the Minotti Pavilion was one of the largest and most impressive booths at the fair. But it’s not just size alone that made Minotti a standout. The designs in their 2025 collection were what caught the eyes of many.

Bézier

A highlight is the Bézier sofa by Marcio Kogan of Studio MK27. With its multitude of seating element combinations, the Bézier system allows for endlessly adaptable configurations, making it a striking piece of work that has great modern applications. It’s not just pretty and practical, but the curves of the Bézier system make for exceptionally comfortable seating. This slice of Brazilian modernism is achieved through the precise layering of high-density polyurethane in varying thicknesses, ensuring uniform comfort across the entire surface.

Vivienne

Another sofa design that deserves attention is the Vivienne sofa by Italian-Danish duo GamFratesi. Inspired by the semicircular curved backrest of the Vivienne armchair, the seating system has a distinctly contemporary aesthetic. Its backrest that wraps around the seat also acts as an armrest, while the finely contoured upholstered base is supported by recessed aluminium bars that host and partially conceals the thickness of the cushions. So the seats appear thinner without sacrificing plush comfort. Simultaneously decorative and essential it is perfect for filing up a modern space with organic character.

Saki

The Saki by Nendo takes its name from the term for ‘blooming’ in Japanese, because this family of seats takes its idea from the unfolding of flower buds. It is available in various configurations, be it 2-, 3-, or 4-seat sofa versions with two different depths, an armchair version with or without armrests, benches or an original island-like version. The square island version, whose surface is enriched with stitching that intersects at the centre, is particularly inviting and can be used as a spacious seating area where multiple people can lie out or sit along its perimeter, in lounge, residential, or Hospitality spaces. Supported by aluminium feet, the armchair is also available with an additional floor support consisting of a square base with rounded corners, in both swivel and fixed versions.

Libra

Aside from sofas, the Libra coffee table by Giampiero Tagliaferri is yet another modern design that catches the eye. It has a modern design in two shapes: rectangular and square. The top features an inverted “C” section, in marble, stone or wood, and is accentuated by a recessed chrome metal band along the shorter sides. The legs consist of bases made from polished chrome tubular elements, supporting a metal plate that holds the top. This constitution gives the coffee table strong support with a light appearance.

Besides these highlighted models, Minotti’s 2025 collection features plenty of other noteworthy designs. So if you are in Hong Kong, make sure to check out the new Minotti collection in Andante’s showrooms on Duddell Street.
