Alan See's watch collection

Jul 30, 2024

Alan See, co-founder of highbrow suiting shop The Armoury, takes us through the highlights of his watch collection

Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 96

This is the first Patek I bought that really matched my whole sartorial look. I know it’s way smaller than anything anyone is used to, but it’s perfect to fit under a shirt sleeve and go unnoticed. If you look hard enough, you can find amazing variants with sector and other dials.

A. Lange& Söhne Little Lange 1 Moon Phase

This is already a beautiful watch and its dial is something everyone is really captivated by. In person it’s just stunning.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Ref. 77450

There has to be one AP in here because, other than being the integrated bracelet watch to have, it has my and my wife’s initials as well as my two little ones’. On top of that, have you felt the heft of a full gold Royal Oak? Love it.

The Armoury X Paulin

This is something we did at the Armoury, designed and put together by my business partner Mark Cho and Elliot Hammer. It’s the perfect fusion of East and West. I love watches with little details like this. And the best thing is it’s super affordable!

A. Lange & Söhne Arkade

This is a really special watch Lange came out with originally for ladies. Its proportions and size are really beautiful and I love it on my own wrist

Cartier Santos de Cartier

Did i mention I love gold watches? This is probably one of the best full gold watches you can easily get (without having to fuss with waiting lists and whatnot). No nonsense, unapologetically bold and gold.
