This autumn, Soho House Hong Kong brings a touch of Istanbul to Sheung Wan with Soho House Meze. Aimee Yan reports

A Turkish dining pop-up of Turkish cuisine. Curated by Sous Chef Işıl Okçu, the menu draws inspiration from Mediterranean and the roots along the Aegean coast.
Belon x Soho House

Among the highlights of the pop-up is the Belon x Soho House Four-Hands Dinner on October 15. For one night only, Chef Işıl Okçu will join forces with Mina Güçlüer, Head Chef of the acclaimed French restaurant Belon, for a six-course collaboration themed around the language of the Mediterranean.

The menu opens with Caviar Taramasalata with champagne and dill, a play of acidity and brine to awaken the palate. Black Prawn with Citrus Confit and Seared Scallops with Yuzu Garlic Butter showcase the chefs’ attention to detail. For the mains, Rouget with Saffron and Pastis reveals the precision of French cooking infused with Turkish spice, while Duck with Vine Leaves and Sour Cherries reimagines a traditional flavour through modern craftsmanship. The evening concludes with Carob Molasses Ice Cream and Confit Figs, a grounded, elegant finish to a menu designed with thoughtful progression and balance.
