To celebrate the partnership of Porsche Design and Hong Kong team Craft-Bamboo Racing for the 2018 FIA GT World Cup at the 65th Macau Grand Prix (15-18 November), Porsche Design presented “Auto Reflections by Thomas Sandfield”, a bold photography exhibition which took place at Kong Art Space. The “Auto Reflections” exhibit showcases the special chrome Porsche Design Porsche 911 GT3 R, in locations around Hong Kong which were specifically chosen to compliment the reflective surface of the race car. The technicolour neon lights bending over the curbed bodywork gives the impression of an explosion of colour and the iconic architecture makes for impactful visuals that truly embody the spirit of the car.
The FIA GT World Cup at the 65th Macau Grand Prix held at the world famous Guia Circuit in the streets of Macau is an event that is definitely not to be missed. With Porsche Design as the title sponsor of the dark chrome #911 Craft-Bamboo Racing Porsche 911 GT 3 (pictured), driven by young-gun Frenchman, Mathieu Jaminet, the official Porsche factory driver, you’re guaranteed to witness classic history in motion. Jaminet has had previous experience with Craft-Bamboo Racing, having raced with the Hong Kong outfit at the Suzuka 10 hour earlier this year. The 24 year old demonstrated his tremendous talent to the team in Japan, which was further cemented this fall with his impressive championship win in the 2018 ADAC GT Masters.
Craft-Bamboo Racing and Porsche Design are looking forward to the highly anticipated, blue-riband weekend and have their sights on the FIA GT World Title.
