Inject some flower power into your Dry January with Draft Land’s Hibiscus Fizz mocktail – one of two spirit-free cocktails currently available on tap at the laidback Central spot, which recently launched its daytime service. Sip on this fabulously floral mix of hibiscus, honey, pineapple and soda while tucking into some of Draft Land’s new all-day eats – and even better, bring your furry friend to come join the fun at this pet-friendly venue.

Forget walking like an Egyptian… here’s to drinking like an Egyptian instead. Lobster Bar’s intriguingly-named creation Little Tutankhamun features Seedlip’s Grove 42 citrus blend, alongside Lyre’s non-alcoholic dry vermouth and sweet vermouth, gum syrup and Bonfire Glyncture (a mix of bark, pepper and lapsang souchong tea) for a complex concoction that’s softly smoky and subtly sweet.

Petit Coco at LPM Restaurant & Bar

Coconut water-based beverages often feel a little too virtuous to be truly delicious, but LPM Restaurant & Bar’s Petit Coco ticks all our mocktail boxes. This light and delicate drink mixes coconut water, sorbet and a dash of citrus, resulting in a creamy well-balanced blend that delivers the perfect amount of natural fruit sweetness – an ideal accompaniment for LPM’s trademark full-flavoured French-Mediterranean dishes.

Berry Beauty at Zuma

Mocktails totally count towards your five a day, don’t they? Get your fill of vitamins and antioxidants galore with Zuma’s Berry Beauty, which comes loaded with fresh raspberries and blackberries, shaken with agave nectar, muddled ginger and cranberry juice for a drink that’s equal parts delicious and healthy (well, healthier than a normal cocktail anyway).

In The Spritz at 181 Fortnum & Mason

Enjoy afternoon tea with a difference with Fortnum & Mason’s divine sparkling tea mocktails. Our pick of the bunch is In The Spritz, a twist on an Italian aperitif that mixes passion fruit, bramble berry, Earl Grey and Fortnum’s own blend of sparkling tea with apple cider vinegar for a touch of acidity, plus raspberry and Thai basil garnishes for a bright, fruity creation that pairs perfectly with the restaurant’s quintessentially British dishes. Can’t get enough of Fortnum’s sparkling tea? Pick up a bottle or two from their store downstairs to take home – it makes for an excellent alcohol-free alternative to champagne or prosecco too.

La Poire at La Vache!

Red wine with red meat is so last season. Opt for a lighter accompaniment to your steak feast at La Vache with their refreshing La Poire mocktail. Combining fresh pear with lemon juice, lemongrass and ginger ale, it’s a feelgood choice that means you can load up on those unlimited fries with zero guilt… well, that’s our theory.

Bring a taste of the tropics to these chilly winter days with Mott 32’s Mango Paradise – one of their current trio of spirit-free “Mottails” (and yes, any drink is improved with a good pun). Featuring a summery blend of mango, guava, yuzu and dill, it’s basically sunshine in a glass.
