As the son of rally legend Carlos Sainz Sr., Carlos Sainz Jr. has never shied away from comparison. Since entering F1 in 2015, he has claimed three Grand Prix victories, including a crucial win in Singapore in 2024 that showcased his composure under pressure. Following his move to Audi, he has taken on the challenge of leading a new chapter for the team – once again proving that he belongs among the sport’s elite.

Beyond his 32 race wins, it is his relentless competitive spirit that commands respect. Even when machinery isn’t in his favour, he extracts every possible opportunity. A seven-time World Champion, with 103 race wins and 104 pole positions, Lewis Hamilton’s name is permanently etched into F1 history. As the sport’s first Black driver, his impact extends far beyond statistics. After moving to Mercedes in 2013 and building a dynasty, he made a high-profile switch to Ferrari in 2025, where he continues to perform at the highest level. On track, he’s precise and composed; off track, he’s a force in fashion and culture. From bold style choices to outspoken advocacy for sustainability and diversity, Hamilton transcends the sport. For many, he represents more than a driver, but an era.

Max Verstappen, Red Bull Racing

At 28, Max Verstappen is already a three-time World Champion (2022–2024). Born in Belgium and raised in a racing family. His father, Jos Verstappen, was a former F1 driver and he practically grew up trackside. He made his Formula 1 debut at just 17, becoming the youngest driver in the sport’s history, a record that’s still frequently mentioned today. His driving style is decisive and aggressive. A single-season tally of 24 wins and a streak of 10 consecutive victories speak to a period of near-total dominance. Even after finishing runner-up in 2025, the sense of pressure he brings to the track remains unmistakable.

Oscar Piastri,  McLaren
