While Hong Kong gyms are closed till further notice and the temperature continues to drop, you might just need a little extra motivation to work out. Here are a few cool sportswear labels to keep in mind that will hopefully give you the extra push that you need.
Varley
Headquartered between London and Los Angeles, Varley is a luxury label with sporty separates that will keep you stylish everywhere from the city to the trails. They offer simple, clean cuts and an expert focus on figure-flattering cuts, which are perfect for pilates, barre or yoga.
Our pick: Varley makes some of the best animal prints for activewear. Currently, the Delta bra and Century leggings in snakeskin are in my cart.
Everybody and Everyone
Veronica Chou’s label, Everybody and Everyone, recently introduced a line of activewear that’s compressed enough to hold you in yet comfortable enough to wear all day. Each piece of the collection is made from biodegradable and recycled nylon fibres.

Our pick: Slip into the Magic legging and Pretty Sweaty tee for your next workout.
Year of Ours
Female-founded LA-label, Year of Ours, prides themselves on team spirit. The utilitarian styles, often times inspired by classic American sportswear, are easy to wear and transition from sports to daily wear. Shop their line that includes everything from sports bras and leggings to hoodies and loungewear.
Our pick: The ultra high-waist ribbed football leggings, which features a lace-up detail at the waist (I have them in black and want them in every other colour).
Ernest Leoty
As a label founded in Paris during the 19th century, Ernest Leoty has pivoted in recent years, taking its knowledge in corset making to the design of luxury activewear. With a sharp focus on feminine style and performance, they’ve even created costumes for the Opera de Paris Ballet and the UK Olympic cycling team.
Our pick: The navy and black sports bra and legging set is great for low-impact workouts.
Girlfriend Collective
Girlfriend Collective is an ethically produced and size-inclusive label from Seattle, Washington. Made from ECONYL® fabric, each style is often available in over ten colours so you can go full monotone or even play up the colour blocking for your next workout.
Our pick: Sport the label’s cropped puffer and compressive leggings with pockets. Practical and functional.
Outdoor Voices
American athletic label, Outdoor Voices, wants you to get out there. Whether you’re going on a run, yoga or dog walk, ‘doing things’ and staying active is at the core of this NYC brand. Expect lots of fun active separates with a charming retro touch.
