Puma Collaborates with French Brand to Revive the classic Clyde

The new collection is set to drop in May

Contemporary Parisian Label The Kooples is to give Puma’s beloved Clyde sneaker a makeover, WWD reports. Perhaps the German sportswear giant’s most iconic shoe, the Clyde was designed for basketball player Walt Frazier in the mid-1990s. Frazier earned himself the nickname ‘Clyde’, after the infamous robber Clyde Barrow of Bonnie and Clyde infamy, for always stealing the ball from opponents. The collaboration is set to drop in The Kooples stores internationally on June 5. The shoes will be available in white or black.
