Mid-Autumn festival is still a few months away but that doesn’t mean you can just turn up to buy your mooncakes at the last minute. The craze for mooncakes in Hong Kong is almost as serious as a Yeezys drop. From the traditional to more modern interpretations, save yourself (or your company) the hassle and pre-order your mooncakes now:
The Peninsula
Ever since 1986, The Peninsula mooncakes have always been the most coveted mooncakes you can get your hands on. As one of the most creatively packaged mooncakes this year, W Hong Kong surprises us with eight mini golden custard mooncakes all housed inside W Hong Kong’s ‘X’ dumbbells (HK$800).
