Dior recently announced the opening of their largest boutique in Japan. To fete the opening the fashion house hosted two separate runway shows on the evening of April 19: a haute couture show and a menswear show.
Creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri designed eight Japan-inspired looks for the haute collection, while Dior Homme designer, Kris van Assche, showcased Dior’s first-ever pre-fall men’s line, which is available for purchase starting the following day.
The colossal five-storey shop is located in Ginza Six, a luxury mall in the capital’s upmarket shopping district. The more spacious lower floor will feature the men’s collection, with the rest of the boutique dedicated to women’s wear and a café in collaboration with Pierre Hermé.
