Behind The Scenes of Selena Gomez’s First Campaign With Coach

Coach’s latest fall campaign starring the one and only Selena Gomez, photographed by the legendary Steven Meisel have just been released, and the internet exploded.

The images show Gomez lounging in a blush-toned leather interior of a vintage car, the 1976 Plymouth Fury to be exact, with her hands draped casually over the three of the season’s “it” bags: the Rogue, the Coach Swagger and the Edie. In the campaign, Gomez looks like a dreamy vision of the all American girl about to embark on a road trip.

Gomez not only looks gorgeous in the campaign, photos shot from behind the scenes reveal the fun-loving star laughing with Vevers, as well as quieter moments where she enjoys a cuppa.

“From the beginning, the creation of Coach campaigns have been an exciting and collaborative effort,” says Meisel. “It’s been a pleasure working with Stuart and the team of incredibly talented individuals behind the brand. Inviting Selena Gomez to join the Coach family takes it to another level.”

Creative director Stuart Vevers calls Gomez “a rebel and a romantic,” who “speaks to a generation.”

Three short films are set to be released with the launch of the fall collection as well, and will star Gomez getting ready in her New York City apartment for a night on the town.
