 <\/span>หลังจากที่เครื่องประดับอันวิจิตรงดงามของแบรนด์ได้รับความนิยมเป็นอย่างสูงในปารีสแล้วก็ได้เวลาที่แวนคลีฟแอนด์อาร์เปลส์นั้นจะขยายอาณาจักรมาสู่มหานครนิวยอร์กในช่วงทศวรรษ 1940 เมื่่อสมาชิกในครอบครัวตัดสินใจไปตั้้งรกรากในสหรัฐอเมริกา มีหลายชิ้นงานที่สร้างสรรค์ในช่วงเวลานี้ที่มีความโดดเด่นและน่าจดจำไม่ว่าจะเป็นเข็มกลัดดอกโบตั๋๋นปี ค.ศ. 1937 ตัวเรือนแพลตินัมประกอบทองคำสีเหลืองรองรับงานฝังทับทิมเจียระไนหลากหลายรูปทรงแบบซ่อนหนามเตยประดับเพชร ซึ่งเป็นการฝังอัญมณีที่มีมิติสมจริงสร้างให้เข็มกลัดกลีบดอกโบตั๋นนี้ดูพลิ้วไหวราวกับกลีบดอกไม้จริง ซึ่งเข็มกลัดชิ้นนี้ได้รับการออกแบบให้เป็นเข็มกลัดดอกโบตั๋นคู่กันที่สามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงรูปแบบและเปลี่ยนแปลงคู่สีในการสวมใส่ได้ เข็มกลัดชิ้นนี้อยู่ในครองครองของของเจ้าหญิงฟัยซะฮ์แห่งอียิปต์ในปี <\/span>1946 <\/span>ในปัจจุบันเข็มกลัดชิ้นนี้ได้หวนคืนสู่ <\/span>Van Cleef & Arpels Collection<\/span>  อีกหนึ่งชิ้นงานที่มีความโดดเด่นคือสร้อยคอ <\/span>Collaret <\/span>ในปี <\/span>1939 <\/span>สร้อยคอแผงตาข่ายตัวเรือนแพลตินัมประดับด้วยเพชรทรงกลมกว่า <\/span>355 <\/span>เม็ด และเพชรทรงบาเกตต์<\/span>จำนวน <\/span>318 <\/span>เม็ด ผลงานระดับมาสเตอร์พีซที่เคยอยู่ในครอบครองของพระราชินีนาซิลของอียิปต์ เป็นชิ้นงานที่มีความงดงามในทุกมิติ<\/span><\/p>\n

อีกหนึ่งชิ้นงานที่มีความน่าสนใจในช่วงเวลานี้คือ <\/span>Passe-Partout <\/span>เป็นภาษาฝรั่่งเศสที่แปลว่า <\/span>“<\/span>กุุญแจผี<\/span>” <\/span>ซึ่งคำนี้ถูกนำมาใช้นิยามเครื่องประดับที่สามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงรูปแบบไปตามจุดประสงค์ในการใช้งานได้ เช่น นาฬิกาข้อมือที่สร้างสรรค์ในปี <\/span>1939 <\/span>ที่สวยสะดุดตาด้วยสายทูบอกัสรังสรรค์จากทองคำสีเหลือง สายทูบอกัสมีคุณสมบัติเด่นในการยืดและหดได้คล้ายกับสปริงขดลวดโลหะ เรือนเวลานี้โดดเด่นด้วยการแต่งแต้มเข็มกลัดรูปทรงดอกไม้เดี่ยวและดอกไม้คู่ที่ประดับด้วยทับทิม, ไพลิน และเพชร รังสรรค์ขึ้นตามแบบศิลปะนิยมที่ออกแบบให้กลีบดอกไม้มีความสมจริงแนบเนียนไปกับรูปทรงตามธรรมชาติมากที่สุด ซึ่งเข็มกลัดที่ประดับอยู่บนสายของนาฬิกานั้นสามารถนำมาสวมใส่เป็นเข็มกลัดดอกไม้ชิ้นเด่นได้อีกด้วย <\/span> \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

“ผู้นำแห่งว็องโดม” เนื่องจากบูติกเลขที่ 22 ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ที่จัตุรัส ปลาซ ว็อง โดม นั้นมีลูกค้ามาเยี่ยมเยือนอยู่อย่างไม่ขาดสาย ผลงานต่างๆ ในช่วงนี้จึงสะท้อนศาสตร์และศิลป์อันช่ำชองของแบรนด์อัญมณีฝรั่งเศส
