That man is Tre Porapat Srikajondecha<\/strong>, the talented actor under One31 who first captured audiences\u2019 attention through his role as \u201cNares\u201d in the epic historical drama The Last Duel<\/em> before evolving into one of Thailand\u2019s most recognized leading actors, admired for both his skill and sincerity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#legend_TH<\/strong> had the opportunity to sit down with \u2018Tre Porapat\u2019<\/strong> for an intimate conversation about his ten-year journey in the entertainment industry \u2014 from learning the craft of acting to growing as a person. Today, his name has become synonymous with talent, warmth, and a genuine energy that continues to inspire the people around him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#legend_TH: What motivated you to become an actor?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time, I was honestly just a rebellious kid who wanted to make money on my own. There wasn\u2019t really any deep motivation behind it. It all felt new, and I thought it looked like easy money and something fun to do. To be honest, as a 19-year-old who was still studying while working at the same time, I just thought it sounded pretty cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#legend_TH: The role of \u201cNares\u201d is already iconic from previous versions. Did taking over the role create pressure for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course it was pressure \u2014 every role comes with pressure when you\u2019re entrusted with it. I prepared for it the same way I prepare for every project, but this role required a lot more skills than usual. I had to learn sword fighting, work on my physique, ride horses, ride elephants, and deal with very heavy costumes. I tried to prepare myself as much as possible and bring the best version of myself to the role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acting-wise, I did a lot of homework. I needed to fully understand the background of King Naresuan \u2014 who he was, the history behind him, and what he did for the country. Thankfully, the information wasn\u2019t difficult to find, so I studied all of that and combined it with the script I was given.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#legend_TH: Did you have a chance to exchange ideas with seniors or mentors while preparing for the role?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t usually consult many people when it comes to acting because, ultimately, I have to create the character myself. The person I speak with most is usually the director, especially regarding the direction they want. But when it comes to building the character and shaping the performance, that\u2019s something I design myself. I have to come prepared with choices and ideas for them to select from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#legend_TH: In the context of 2026, did you reinterpret the character in any way to make it feel more contemporary?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the very beginning, the goal of this series was to focus on relationships. That\u2019s what makes it different from previous versions or the historical narratives everyone already knows. So instead of only emphasizing the history, we focused more deeply on the emotional side of the characters to bring viewers closer to the feelings we wanted them to experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

#legend_TH: How did you adapt to fandom culture and fan service, especially since it may have been unfamiliar at the beginning?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honestly, being an actor or a public figure already means being a \u201cgiver.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> So there wasn\u2019t much that needed to change. Ever since I entered the industry, all the seniors around me taught me the importance of Give & Take<\/em> until it became deeply rooted in me. Even if I feel shy or awkward because it\u2019s not naturally who I am, at the end of the day, acting itself already requires us to step outside ourselves. What we do here is ultimately about giving happiness to people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel that if the audience is happy, then I\u2019m happy too. That\u2019s what makes being a giver fulfilling. Even if something feels unfamiliar, people can always learn and adapt<\/em>. I think flexibility is important \u2014 being able to evolve with the times. Nowadays, fans interact with artists differently, and I think that kind of participation and mutual exchange is a beautiful thing. In the past, maybe nobody would ask for cute fan-service moments, but now we understand more about what people enjoy, and we want to give that happiness back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#legend_TH: After reaching the level of recognition you have today, what lessons has the industry taught you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These ten years feel a lot like life itself. So many things have happened throughout this career. This industry is like a school, or even a home, but within that home there are both good and bad experiences. There are challenges from the outside world too, which means the home itself has to remain strong \u2014 and by that, I mean the organization and the people around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you ask what I gained from these ten years, first of all<\/em><\/strong>, I learned to truly understand myself. I learned what it means to be a professional actor \u2014 someone who gives happiness, laughter, entertainment, and sometimes even guidance to others. I feel that being a giver is far more valuable and meaningful than being a receiver.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondly,<\/em><\/strong> I learned about people. I met many different kinds of people, both good and bad, and those experiences became lessons for life. The good things, we keep and apply. The bad things, we learn to let go of. Even mistakes themselves are important. It\u2019s okay to make mistakes \u2014 just don\u2019t repeat them<\/em>. If you know you were wrong, apologize and grow from it. People make mistakes all the time. If nobody ever failed, how would anyone become wiser or better? So don\u2019t be afraid of failure.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself what you truly want from your work and from yourself. Everyone has different goals and different techniques for getting there. For me, being in this industry has allowed me to do things I never imagined possible. I\u2019ve had opportunities I don\u2019t think I could find anywhere else in life. Being able to portray different characters and make people believe in them is one of the greatest gifts<\/em> I\u2019ve ever received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m grateful for these ten years. Grateful to myself, to the people beside me, to my family, and to my friends who always support me. One of the biggest lessons I\u2019ve learned is that if people love you for who you truly are, then you can genuinely be happy. Don\u2019t force yourself to become someone else.Another important thing is encouragement \u2014 whether it comes from fans, friends, family, or the people around you. And lastly<\/strong>, growing older has taught me to understand more, think more positively, and let go of things more easily. What\u2019s meant to be will be, and what isn\u2019t simply isn\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#legend_TH: What does being a \u201cgood actor\u201d mean to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think you have to believe in who you are. You have to respect your work, respect your co-stars, respect your team, and trust what you\u2019re doing. And you must keep practicing. Every profession requires practice. Athletes become great because they train constantly, and acting is no different. If you want to improve, you have to keep learning and filling yourself with knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But at the same time, you shouldn\u2019t become a \u201cfull glass.\u201d<\/em> If you think you already know everything, you stop listening to others. For me, it\u2019s important to listen carefully, understand first, think deeply, and only then speak. You have to approach everything thoughtfully and stay sincere with both your work and your own feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being a good actor isn\u2019t just about memorizing lines or deciding how you want to perform a role. To me, a good actor is someone who truly exists with their scene partner and with every element around them. Acting is Give & Take<\/em> \u2014 like playing table tennis. It only becomes fun when everyone works together. No actor succeeds entirely alone. Every profession requires teamwork. Even athletes in solo sports still need coaches, support systems, and good people around them. So above all else, I believe good relationships are the most important thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#legend_TH: Is there anything you\u2019d like to say to the fans who support you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I just want to sincerely thank them for everything. Without them, I wouldn\u2019t be where I am today, and I probably wouldn\u2019t have a future in this industry either. They are one of the biggest driving forces in my life and career. They inspire me to keep creating good work and motivate me to continue growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their support means everything to me as someone who stands under the spotlight. They are like the light that keeps me going and makes me want to continue giving happiness back to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even if there are only one, two, or just a few people waiting for me, at least there are still people waiting \u2014 people who want to see my work and support what I create. To everyone who has been with me since Day 1 until today, thank you so much. And to those who just met me recently, I\u2019m truly happy to get to know you too. I\u2019m grateful to be able to wholeheartedly become a giver, and I\u2019m equally grateful that everyone continues to send that love and encouragement back to me as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#legend_TH: You\u2019re about to have your very first fan meeting soon. How do you feel about that?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s going to be my first fan meeting in ten years, which is something I honestly never imagined would happen. I\u2019m grateful to myself, to everyone who encouraged this fan meeting to happen, and especially to the fans who kept asking for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This feels like an opportunity for me to give something back and share happiness with everyone. Even though I\u2019m nervous, I\u2019m always scared before I do something new. But I\u2019m really looking forward to the day I can fully give happiness to everyone through things I\u2019ve never done before \u2014 both during the fan meeting itself and through all the activities we\u2019re preparing. I just hope everyone will enjoy the moments I\u2019m creating wholeheartedly from the past ten years of my journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#legend_TH: You\u2019re also launching your own online show. Can you tell us about it?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been discussing it with my team, and we\u2019re planning to bring back ACTIVITRE<\/em><\/strong>. The show existed before, but this new version will be much more adventurous. I\u2019ll be hosting it myself alongside different guests, and we\u2019ll be going on outdoor adventures, exploring nature, getting messy, and maybe even doing urban adventures around Bangkok too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But above all, every episode will definitely bring laughter, excitement, and fun. Most importantly, I hope viewers will also take away meaningful lessons from what I do on the channel. This show will allow people to see another side of me they\u2019ve never seen before. Please look forward to ACTIVITRE<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
