“…หลังจากสร้างความประทับใจในการเปิดตัวคอลเลคชั่น Treasure Island ครั้งแรกในไมอามี่ สหรัฐอเมริกาช่วงปลายปีที่ผ่านมา Van Cleef & Arpels<\/a> ได้สานต่อเรื่องราวครั้งนี้ โดยออกเดินทางมายังเกาะภูเก็ต ประเทศไทยเป็นจุดหมายที่สอง เกาะที่ได้รับการขนานนามว่าไข่มุกอันดามันแห่งนี้ได้กลายเป็นฉากหลังที่สมบูรณ์แบบในการนำเสนองานออกแบบเครื่องประดับที่เปี่ยมด้วยมนต์เสน่ห์แห่งท้องทะเล…”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Treasure Island คือคอลเลกชันที่เราทำให้มันมีชีวิตขึ้นมาจริงๆ ภูเก็ตนั้นรายล้อมด้วยน้ำทะเลสีฟ้าใส ธรรมชาติที่อุดมสมบูรณ์ สีสันหลากหลายของเกาะนี้เข้ากับงานออกแบบครั้งนี้เป็นอย่างดี ฉันยังแอบพูดกับทีมว่า เหมือนเราสร้างเกาะแห่งใหม่ขึ้นมา ทั้งที่ความจริงคือมันมีของมันอยู่แล้ว แต่ใครจะรู้? บางทีอาจจะมีโจรสลัดโผล่มาด้วยก็ได้ นี่แหละคือวิธีที่เราทำให้เรื่องราวนั้นมีชีวิต ผ่านกิจกรรมที่ถ่ายทอดแรงบันดาลใจของนักออกแบบอย่างลึกซึ้งค่ะ” Dorothée Henrio ผู้ดำรงตำแหน่ง Managing Director of Van Cleef & Arpels ประจำภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ กล่าวกับเราในระหว่างที่ได้นั่งพูดคุยกันอย่างใกล้ชิด<\/span><\/p>\n

 ไม่มีครั้งไหนที่เมซงเครื่องประดับแห่งนี้จะทำให้เราต้องผิดหวังเมื่อเป็นเรื่องของการเล่าเรื่อง เป็นที่รู้กันดีว่า Treasure Island นั้นได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากบทประพันธ์คลาสสิกของ <\/span>Robert Louis Stevenson ที่เล่าเรื่องราวถึงการออกผจญภัยของเด็กหนุ่ม James Hawkins ร่วมกับกลุ่มเพื่อนมายังเกาะมหาสมบัติของโจรสลัด เรื่องราวที่เต็มไปด้วยการผจญภัยนี้ถูกนำมาจัดสัดส่วนในนิทรรศการที่อวดโฉมเครื่องประดับในครั้งนี้อย่างลงตัว โดยแบ่งออกเป็นสามบท Adventure at Sea, Exploring the Island และ Treasure Hunt  วิลล่าหลังงามบนเนินเขาที่มองเห็นวิวทะเลเบื้องหน้าได้รับการตกแต่งในบรรยากาศที่ชวนให้เราตื่นเต้นไปกับทุกการค้นพบ<\/span><\/p>\n

แม้ว่าเครื่องประดับชิ้นเอกหลายชิ้นจะมีผู้ครอบครองไปแล้วนับตั้งแต่การเปิดตัวครั้งแรก แต่ยังมีศิลป์อัญมณีอีกไม่น้อยที่รอให้เราค้นพบ ในส่วนจัดแสดงแรกนั้นตัวละครเด่นคือเข็มกลัดโจรสลัดที่มีรายละเอียดสมจริง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นท่าทาง คอสตูมและพร็อบประกอบฉาก ผลลัพธ์จากการขึ้นรูปตามแบบร่างด้วยขี้ผึ้ง ก่อนนำไปหล่อด้วยเทคนิค lost wax casting ทำให้ทองคำนั้นมีลักษณะตรงตามแบบร่างจนเกิดเป็นเครื่องประดับที่ถ่ายทอดจินตนาการได้อย่างสมบูรณ์แบบ<\/span> ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเข็มกลัด Pirate David รังสรรค์ด้วยทอง 18k สามเฉดสีตกแต่งพิงค์แซปไฟร์และเพชร หรือเข็มกลัด Pirate Jim ที่มีกล้องส่องทางไกลอยู่ในมือคอยสอดส่องสังเกตุการณ์ รังสรรค์ด้วยทอง18k สามเฉดสีประดับทับทิม แลคเกอร์สีดำ และเพชร สร้างคาแรกเตอร์ในนวนิยายให้มีชีวิตขึ้นมาได้อย่างน่าหลงใหล<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n

เมื่อเดินมาถึงส่วนจัดแสดงในส่วนถัดมาอันสะท้อนเรื่องราวของ Exploring the Island  ซึ่งได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากการสำรวจป่าเขตร้อนนั้น มีศิลป์อัญมณีที่ดึงดูดให้เราหยุดมองได้ในทันทีนั่นคือสร้อยคอ Palmraie Merveilleuse ในตัวเรือนเยลโลว์โกลด์และไวท์โกลด์ถ่ายทอดความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของธรรมชาติ ด้วยรูปทรงของใบปาล์มที่มีลักษณะโค้งลงเพื่อโอบรับลำคอช่างฝีมือนั้นทำออกมาได้อย่างมีมิติสมจริง โดยใช้เวลานานหลายสิบชั่วโมงในการรังสรรค์ขึ้น ใจกลางประดับด้วยมรกตทรงวงรีสีเขียวลุ่มลึก<\/span>ขนาด 47.93 กะรัต ตัวจี้นั้นสามารถถอดออกเพื่อนำมาสวมใส่เป็นเข็มกลัดได้ อีกหนึ่งชิ้นงานที่หลอมรวมมนต์เสน่ห์ของมหาสมุทรเข้ากับเอกลักษณ์ของเมซงได้อย่างงดงามคือสร้อยข้อมือรูปหอยในสไตล์รอคโคโค Coquilles Mystérieuses <\/span>ตัวเรือนไวท์โกลด์ผสมผสานพิงค์โกลด์ประดับด้วยทับทิมโดยใช้เทคนิค <\/span>Traditional Mystery Set <\/span>และเพชร<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n

“เราต้องการส่งต่อคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรมเครื่องประดับ ถ่ายทอด savoir-faire และความน่าหลงใหลในแต่ละชิ้นงาน บางชิ้นในคอลเลคชั่น Treasure Island ใช้เวลากว่า 200-300 ชั่วโมงในการสร้างสรรค์ และการค้นหาอัญมณีที่พิเศษก็ใช้เวลายาวนานเช่นกัน เราต้องการแบ่งปันเบื้องหลังเหล่านี้ให้ทุกคนรู้ สิ่งที่เราทำไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแค่กระแสนิยม แต่ทำด้วยความเคารพคุณค่าที่แท้จริง งานฝีมืออันประณีต และความงดงามที่ไร้กาลเวลาทั้งหมดนี้เป็นหัวใจของ Van Cleef & Arpels ค่ะ”<\/span> สำหรับส่วนสุดท้ายนั้นเต็มไปด้วยแหวนตัวเรือนทองประดับอัญมณีสีทั้งในรูปแบบเม็ดเดี่ยวและฝังพลอยหลากชนิดสลับสีสันราวกับลูกกวาดสีสวยที่โอ้อวดประกายแข่งกันเย้ายวนให้ผู้ออกล่าสมบัตินั้นจับจ้องเป็นเจ้าของ <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n

หลังจากที่ได้สัมผัสกับการสร้างสรรค์เครื่องประดับที่เต็มไปด้วยจินตนาการ มนต์เสน่ห์ และเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวแล้ว คณะสื่อมวลชนยังได้มีโอกาสเรียนรู้เรื่องราวในมิติที่ลึกขึ้น ในการบรรยายพิเศษจาก L’ÉCOLE ที่พาให้เราไปค้นพบความน่าสนใจของเครื่องประดับที่ผู้คนให้นิยามว่าเป็น “สมบัติล้ำค่า” จากในอดีตเรื่อยมารวมถึงการสร้างสรรค์กล่องอัญมณีที่ใช้สำหรับเก็บเครื่องประดับล้ำค่าที่มีวิวัฒนาการจากอดีตสู่ปัจจุบัน ซึ่งเป็นองค์ความรู้ที่มีเพียงผู้เชี่ยวชาญจาก L’ÉCOLE เท่านั้นที่สามารถถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้นี้ออกมาได้อย่างลึกซึ้งและน่าสนใจ “เราต้องการสร้างแรงบันดาลใจผ่านคุณค่าที่แท้จริงที่เชื่อมโยงกับมนุษย์มากกว่าทำการตลาดแบบทั่วไป การส่งต่อเรื่องราวของเราเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของเมซง เราได้ร่วมก่อตั้ง L’ÉCOLE School of Jewellery Arts ในปารีสและฮ่องกง เพื่อแบ่งปันความรู้เรื่องอัญมณีและงานฝีมือ และยังจัดนิทรรศการในภูมิภาคอื่น เช่น ที่ Raffles ประเทศสิงคโปร์ ซึ่งเราจัดขึ้นปีละสองถึงสามครั้ง และเชิญโรงเรียนต่างๆ ให้มาร่วมชมเพื่อเรียนรู้เรื่องราวเบื้องหลังเครื่องประดับของเรา และวัฒนธรรมที่เป็นมรดกอันทรงคุณค่า”<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n

การส่งต่อเรื่องราวที่เต็มไปด้วยมนต์ขลังนั้นยังไม่จบเพียงเท่านี้ ในช่วงเย็นที่พระอาทิตย์กำลังจะลับขอบฟ้า แสงสีส้มทองฉาบเคลือบไปทั่วแผ่นฟ้าและผืนน้ำ โต๊ะอาหารถูกจัดวางเป็นแนวยาวทอดไปตามชายหาดต้อนรับสื่อมวลชนนับร้อยชีวิต <\/span>พร้อมด้วยอาหารมื้อพิเศษที่ปรุงรสโดยเชฟชาวฝรั่งเศส ก่อนที่เหล่านางแบบจะทยอยเดินออกมาอวดโฉมเครื่องประดับชิ้นสวยในคอลเลกชัน Treasure Island ผสมผสานกับเครื่องประดับชั้นสูงในคอลเลกชันอื่นๆอย่างลงตัว<\/span><\/p>\n

ปิดท้ายด้วยเหล่านักแสดงที่สวมบทบาทเป็นโจรสลัดจากคณะการแสดงในแคนาดาจะออกมาเต้นรำสำเริงสำราญและชวนเราไปเพลิดเพลินกับอาฟเตอร์ปาร์ตี้ที่เริ่มต้นขึ้นหลังจากที่ดอกไม้ไฟหลากสีสันอวดโฉมละลานตาจุดประกายให้ผืนฟ้าอันมืดมิดนั้นสุกสกาวขึ้นในทันตา เป็นการปิดท้ายค่ำคืนและการเดินทางครั้งนี้อย่างน่าประทับใจ การสร้างประสบการณ์ให้เราเข้าถึงเรื่องราวอย่างลึกซึ้งของแวน คลีฟ แอนด์ อาร์เปลส์นั้นเป็นสิ่งที่นิยามได้ว่า “ไม่เหมือนใคร” และนั่นเป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้เราไม่แปลกใจว่าทำไมเมซงเครื่องประดับแห่งนี้ยังคงยึดถือและให้คุณค่ากับการนำเสนอเรื่องราวที่มีรูปแบบเฉพาะตัว<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n
