“เราทํามาเยอะเลยครับ ตั้งแต่ประกวดดาวเดือนมหาลัย จนมาเริ่มเดินสายประกวดตามแต่ละเวทีที่เขาจัด เวทีสุดท้ายที่ผมประกวดเป็นนายแบบจริงจัง คือตอนมิสเตอร์อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล ตอนนั้นไปประกวดที่ฟิลิปปินส์ครับ พอได้มาประกวดระดับอินเตอร์มันได้เห็นโลกที่มันกว้างขึ้น แล้วผมคิดว่าสายอาชีพที่ผมอยากทําต่อไปก็คือทางด้านการแสดง เป็นจุดเปลี่ยนในชีวิตที่เราอยากลองครับ อยากรู้ว่าถ้าไปสายนี้จนสุด แล้วมันจะเป็นยังไงต่อไป…ผมว่ามันคือความกลัวข้างในที่ว่าเราจะกล้าหรือเปล่า กล้าจะก้าวออกจากเซฟโซนตัวเองหรือเปล่า สมมุติว่าตอนนั้นเป็นนายแบบอยู่มันก็เลี้ยงตัวเองได้ในระดับหนึ่ง แต่ถ้าเราไม่ลองอะไรใหม่เลย มันก็จะไม่ออกมาจากตรงนั้น มันท้าทายสุดแล้วว่าเราจะหลุดออกจากกรอบตรงนั้นมาได้ยังไง ถ้ามันไม่ใช่เรากลับไปที่เดิมก็ได้ หรือไปลองเส้นทางใหม่อีกเยอะแยะไปหมด ซึ่งในช่วงนั้นผมก็ยังอายุน้อยอยู่ด้วยครับแค่ 20 ต้นๆเอง พอได้ลองแล้วต้องผ่านอะไรต่างๆมันก็ถือว่าเป็นประสบการณ์ชีวิต ซึ่งมันสนุกมากเลยครับ ผมก็ว่ามันคุ้มแล้วสมมุติว่ามันไม่มี แจม รชตะ วันนี้ ผมก็คงไปเส้นอื่นที่อยากทําแล้วลองลองทําดู”<\/p>\n

บนเส้นทางการพิสูจน์ตัวเองของนักแสดงหนุ่มคนนี้ต้องผ่านอุปสรรคมาอย่างมากมาย ซึ่งเขาได้ตกผลึกกับตัวเองว่า ไม่ว่าจะเจอกับปัญหาหรือความท้าทายอะไรก็ลองสู้กับมันดู<\/strong><\/p>\n

“ลุยครับ ลุยแล้วลอง สมัยนี้มันมีอะไรให้ลองเยอะมากกว่ายุคที่ผมเป็นเด็กอีก ผมก็เป็นคนยุคใหม่เหมือนกันนะ แต่สมัยนี้มันไปไวมากแล้วมันมีหลายช่องทางที่ทําให้เราค้นหาตัวเองได้ คุณจะเป็นอินฟลูเอนเซอร์มั้ย คุณจะเป็นนายแบบ จะเป็นนักแสดงก็ลองดูได้ น้องๆรุ่นใหม่ที่มาเป็นนักแสดงในช่องก็เยอะมาก ซึ่งตอนนั้นอายุ 15 ผมยังดีดลูกแก้วอยู่เลย สมัยนี้คือน้องเขามาเล่นละคร มาแคสงานมาเป็นศิลปินกันแล้ว อย่าไปรอว่าเดี๋ยวมีคนมาชวน สมัยนี้ตัวเลือกเขาเยอะมากแล้วเราต้องเป็นฝ่ายที่จะเข้าไปลุยเอง อยากให้ไปลองดูว่าตัวเองชอบจริงๆหรือเปล่า ถ้าไม่ชอบก็ไปหาเส้นทางใหม่ก็แค่นั้นเองครับ” <\/p>\n

หนึ่งผลงานที่ทำให้เขาคนนี้เป็นที่รู้จักคือการร่วมงานกับ ฟิล์ม-ธนภัทร กับซีรีส์แนวบอยเลิฟ ซึ่งเป็นประสบการณ์ที่มีค่า และช่วยให้เขาทำงานเดี่ยวของตัวเองได้อย่างมั่นใจมากขึ้น<\/strong><\/p>\n

“ละครเรื่อง “คุณชาย” ก็เป็นผลงานเรื่องที่ผมได้ร่วมงานกับพี่ฟิล์ม ตอนนั้นถือว่าใหม่มาก ก็ดีใจที่ได้เล่นในโปรเจกต์ยักษ์แบบนี้ ทํางานกับพี่ฟิล์มมันสนุกมาก พี่เขาเป็นคนที่ผ่านอะไรมาก่อน เขาจะบอกเราว่า เฮ้ยแบบนี้ทําไม่ได้นะ แบบนี้ทําแล้วดีนะ ตรงนี้ไม่ได้ลองไปฝึกดูมั้ย ซึ่งพี่เขาจะคอยแนะนําครับ และคือทุกครั้งที่เราขึ้นเวทีแฟนมีตด้วยกัน เวลาหันมองตากันแล้วมันจะรู้ว่าเฮ้ย พี่ไปแบบนี้ แล้วพี่ช่วยหน่อยตรงนี้ มันจะมีความเชื่อมโยงกันอยู่ตรงนี้บนเวที มันทําให้เราทํางานด้วยกันสนุก  ก็ได้ประสบการณ์จากการอยู่ด้วยกันในกองถ่าย พอออกมาทํางานที่เป็นงานเดี่ยวของเราก็เอาประสบการณ์ตรงนั้นมาใช้เยอะมากจริงๆ” <\/p>\n

จุดหมายปลายทางของแจมไม่จำเป็นต้องเป็นจุดหมายใหญ่เพียงหนึ่งเดียว เพราะเขาคอยตั้งเป้าหมายเล็กๆของตัวเองไว้ แล้วค่อยๆทำให้มันสำเร็จไปเรื่อยๆ<\/strong><\/p>\n

“ความสําเร็จผมไม่ได้ตั้งเป็นเป้าหมายใหญ่แค่เป้าหมายเดียวครับ เป้าหมายใหญ่คืออยากทํางานแล้วซื้ออะไรก็ได้ ดูแลพ่อแม่ได้ดูแลตัวเองได้ แต่ว่าผมจะมีธงปักไว้ในแต่ละจุดนะครับ ตอนที่ประกวดแล้วไปต่างประเทศ คือผมได้รองชนะเลิศ แค่นั้นผมรู้สึกว่าเราสําเร็จแล้ว ผมคิดว่ามันมาถึงขนาดนี้ก็โอเคแล้ว ถ้าเป็นโมเมนต์ที่เป็นศิลปิน เป็นนักแสดงน่าจะเป็นตอนที่อีเวนต์แรกที่ไปแล้วเห็นแฟนคลับเขามากันเต็มไปหมดครับ พอมาเล่นละครที่ได้รับบทที่มันท้าทายขึ้น ผู้ใหญ่ไว้ใจให้เล่นผมก็โอเคมากแล้ว  ก็จะตั้งเป้าหมายต่อไปอีก ผมจะตั้งมันไปเรื่อยไม่ได้มีปักธงไว้ว่าตรงนี้สําเร็จแล้วพอจะไม่ใช่แบบนั้นครับ” <\/p>\n

แต่ถ้าเราไม่ลองอะไรใหม่เลย มันก็จะไม่ออกมาจากตรงนั้น มันท้าทายสุดแล้วว่าเราจะหลุดออกจากกรอบตรงนั้นมาได้ยังไง ถ้ามันไม่ใช่เรากลับไปที่เดิมก็ได้ หรือไปลองเส้นทางใหม่อีกเยอะแยะไปหมด
