Paris is Burning (1990)<\/h3>\n

หนึ่งในภาพยนตร์น้ำดีรูปแบบ Documentary ที่นำเสนอภาพชีวิตภายใต้วัฒนธรรม Ball Culture ของมหานครนิวยอร์ก Paris is Burning เป็นสารคดีที่เล่าเรื่องถึงการฝ่าฝันของกลุ่มชายรักชายที่ต้องอดทนต่อการดูถูกและการไม่ได้รับการยอมรับจากสังคม รวมไปถึงการปฏิเสธจากครอบครัวที่ในสังคม ณ ขณะนั้นยังไม่ได้ยอมรับต่อความหลากหลายทางเพศเฉกเช่นในปัจจุบัน และที่น่าสนใจไปกว่านั้น Paris is Burning ยังคงความยอดเยี่ยมในฐานะภาพยนตร์ที่ตีแผ่เรื่องราวของสังคมชายรักชายได้อย่างตรงไปตรงมา จนได้ถูกนำมาเป็นแรงบันดาลใจของซีรี่ย์เรื่อง Pose ในเวลาต่อมาอีกด้วย<\/p>\n

Moonlight (2016)<\/h3>\n

เรื่องราวของเด็กหนุ่มผิวดำ Chiron ที่เติบโตมาภายใต้สภาพแวดล้อมที่ทรุดโทรมและความยากจน ที่ซึ่งตัวเขาจำเป็นต้องต่อสู้กับความรู้สึกในใจว่าตัวเขาเองอาจไม่ได้มีความชื่นชอบในสตรีอย่างที่สมควรจะเป็น โดยแบ่งออกเป็นทั้งหมด 3 องค์หลักๆ เพื่อให้ผู้ชมได้เห็นถึง Coming of Age ของตัวละครที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงทั้งในเรื่องอารมณ์ความรู้สึกที่มีต่อ Kevin เพื่อนคนสนิทที่เปิดประตูให้ตัวเขาสามารถเป็นตัวเองได้อย่างเต็มที่เมื่ออยู่ด้วยในยามที่ประตูสังคมบานอื่นๆ ได้ปิดลงและไม่ยอมรับกับสิ่งที่เขาเป็น<\/p>\n

นอกจากนี้ Moonlight ยังเป็นภาพยนตร์ที่ได้รับการดัดแปลงมาจากบทละครของ Tarell Alvin McCraney เรื่อง Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue ทำให้ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้เป็นภาพยนตร์ที่บอกเล่าเรื่องราวของเชื้อชาคิ ความรัก และการค้นหาตัวตนที่มีความลึกล้ำและละเมียดละไมในรายละเอียดสูง อันได้รับการการันตีผ่านรางวัลในสาขาภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยมบนเวทีอคาเดมีอวอร์ดสอีกด้วย<\/p>\n

ความน่าสนใจของไตรภาคนี้ไม่ใช่เรื่องอื่นใด หากแต่เป็นการนำเสนอความเป็น coming of age ของตัวละครที่ไม่ได้หวือหวา แต่ทว่าสมจริงและสังเกตได้อย่างไม่ยากเย็นว่าสิ่งเหล่านี้อาจเกิดขึ้นกับใครก็ได้ในสักวัน และอจด้วยเหตุผลนี้เองที่ทำให้ Before Trilogy เป็นเซ็ตภาพยนตร์ที่ทุกคนต่างพูดถึงเรื่องราวของความรักที่เรียบง่ายแต่ทรงพลัง<\/p>\n
