‘นครบรัสเซลส์’ เมืองหลวงตามรัฐธรรมนูญเเห่งราชอาณาจักรเบลเยี่ยม เต็มไปด้วยประชากรจากผู้ที่ถือสัญชาติอื่นมากกว่า 50,000 คน เปรียบกับจำนวนประชากรทั้งหมดประมาณ 150,000คน ซึ่งอยู่อาศัยในพื้นที่บริเวณทั้งหมดประมาณ 32.61 ตารางกิโลเมตร คิดเป็นสัดส่วนความหนาเเน่นมากอยู่ที่ประมาณ 5,000 คน ต่อตารางกิโลเมตร หากเเต่เมืองสเกลเล็กนี้กลับเปี่ยมด้วยมนต์เสน่ห์ให้ชวนค้นหาท่ามกลางสถาปัตกรรมเก่าในจัตุรัสที่ผู้คนต่างเเวะเวียนมาลิ้มลองช็อคโกแลตขึ้นชื่อว่าคือที่สุดเเห่งหนึ่งในโลก อีกทั้งเส้นทางยังง่ายเเสนสะดวกหากเดินทางด้วยเส้นทางรถไฟด่วน TGV หรือขับรถยนต์ส่วนตัวมาจากกรุงปารีสที่ใช้เวลาเพียงประมาณ 1.5-2.0 ชั่วโมง<\/p>\n

‘อัมสเตอร์ดัมส์’ ชื่อมาจากคำว่า อัมสเติลเรอดัมเมอ (Amstelredamme) หมายถึงเมืองที่ตั้งอยู่ริมเขื่อนของเเม่น้ำอัมสเติล ถือเป็นเมืองที่ก่อสร้างด้วยผังเมืองอันเเสนอัศจรรย์ที่อยู่ระดับต่ำกว่าน้ำทะเล เเบ่งเขตกั้นด้วยเขื่อน มีประวัติเริ่มต้นจากเป็นหมู่บ้านชาวประมง ค้าขายเครื่องเทศ ผู้คนทั่วโลกรู้จักจากไร่ดอกทิวลิปหลากสี ชนชาติที่อาศัยอยู่ในเมืองเรียกตนเองว่า ‘ดัตช์’ เผยเเพร่เเนวคิดในหลากเเขนง เเละที่น่าสนใจที่สุดให้เปรียบเป็นสื่อทางวัฒนธรรม (Material Culture) เห็นจะเป็นเเขนงงานศิลปะเเละงานออกเเบบด้วย Dutch Designer นั้นได้ถูกยกขึ้นเเท่นผู้ผลิตชิ้นงานพร้อมเเนวคิดสุดเเสนน่าสนใจให้เป็นอันดับต้นๆ ของโลกในปัจจุบัน ที่นี่มีคลองยาวรวมกันกว่า 100 กิโลเมตร สัญจรได้โดยเรือ รถยนต์ จักรยาน การเดินเท้า สามคลองหลักชื่อ Prinsengracht, Herengracht เเละ Keizersgracht ภายในเมืองมากด้วยสถาปัตยกรรม งานออกเเบบภายใน ร้านเเบรนด์เฟอร์นิเจอร์เครื่องเรือน รวมไปถึงพิพิธภัณฑ์ที่ห้ามพลาดให้ไปเยือน<\/p>\n

ประโยคเปรียบเปรยของผู้คนขาจรที่เดินทางผ่านไปมาเเละมอบให้กับเมืองหลวงใหม่ของเยอรมนี ‘กรุงเบอร์ลิน’ ที่ว่า ‘Berlin is Poor, but Sexy !’ อาจจะเนื่องด้วยค่าครองชีพของเมืองยังคงไม่สูงหากเทียบกับเมืองธุรกิจอื่นในประเทศ หรือหากเทียบกับเมืองหลวงของประเทศอื่น หากเเต่สิ่งที่เบอร์ลินมีนั้นมากเกินกว่าจินตนาการ ทุกวันหากเมื่อเดินออกจากที่พักไปตามถนน หรือกลับไปยังร้านอาหารเดิม ผู้คนหน้าเปลี่ยนไป บริบทของพื้นที่นั้นๆก็จะเปลี่ยนตาม เบอร์ลินถือเป็นเมืองที่เปิดกว้างในเเง่การคิดเเละไลฟสไตล์ที่สุดเเห่งหนึ่งของโลก ด้วยความหลากหลายทางรสนิยมนี้ส่งผลให้ทุกฤดูกาลต่างเต็มไปด้วยนักท่องเที่ยว เเละผู้คนจากประเทศอื่นที่ต่างโยกย้ายเข้ามาอาศัยอยู่ภายในเมือง ทุกวันนี้กรุงเบอร์ลินยังมีอะไรเเฝงให้เราไปร่วมกันค้นหาอีกเพียบ<\/p>\n

‘บูดาเปสต์’ ได้รับสมญานามว่าเป็นราชินีเเห่งลุ่มเเม่น้ำดานูบ เเละกรุงปารีสน้อย หรือเมืองหลวงเเห่งเทศกาล จากประสบการณ์การเดินทางของผู้เขียนที่ยกบูดาเปสต์ขึ้นหิ้ง ถือเป็นเมืองเเรกหากต้องเลือกเดินทางไปพักผ่อนเพื่อเติมสุขให้กับชีวิตได้ในตลอดทั้งปี ที่ทุกสิ่งค่อนข้างเอื้อ อันได้เเก่ รูปเเบบของที่พัก รสชาติของอาหาร ค่าครองชีพ ความน่าพิสมัย ศิลปะ สถาปัตยกรรมเก่าที่ยิ่งใหญ่น่าสนใจ รวมไปถึงบริบทของเมืองในทุกเทศกาลตามสมญาที่ว่าด้วย ‘เมืองหลวงเเห่งเทศกาล’ โดยเฉพาะในช่วงปลายปี อีกทั้งความพิเศษที่ไม่มีใครเหมือนว่าด้วยหัวเรื่อง ‘สปาเเบบวารีบำบัด’ ที่มีให้เลือกไปเยือนมากกว่า 5 เเห่ง ในเเต่ละเเห่งก็จะมีเรื่องเล่า อาทิ เป็นบ่อน้ำเเร่สร้างตั้งเเต่ยุคออตโตมานน์ เเละยังคงมีอยู่พร้อมเปิดใช้บริการ<\/p>\n

‘กรุงปราก’ เมืองหลวงและเมืองมรดกโลกของสาธารณรัฐเช็ก เป็นเมืองที่มีความเก่าแก่ราว 200 ปีก่อนคริสตกาล จุดเด่นที่ผู้เขียนสนใจใคร่ให้ไปเยือนคือ ศิลปะรูปเเบบ อาร์ต นูโว (Art Nouveau = ศิลปะใหม่) รังสรรค์โดยศิลปินเอกนาม อัลฟองส์ มารีอา มูคา (Alphonse Mucha) ที่ดึงดูดให้เราอยากไปยลชิ้นงานต้นตำรับระดับเลเจนด์ที่ยังหลงเหลือ ด้วยเเนวคิดศิลปะรูปเเบบนี้ได้เเผ่ขยายไปยังศิลปะเเละงานออกเเบบอื่นๆ ทำให้เมืองทั้งหมดฮีลใจเราด้วย อาร์ต นูโว<\/p>\n

‘กรุงโรม’ เมืองที่เปรียบเป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์สเกลมหึมากลางเเจ้ง เราต่างเคยได้ยินความยิ่งใหญ่ ประวัติความเป็นมาของกรุงโรมกันอยู่เเล้วด้วยวลีกล่าวที่ว่า “Rome, wasn’t built in a day” หากเเต่คำกล่าวที่ว่าจะไม่เป็นผล มนต์เสน่ห์หรือการขอพรใดใดกับทวยเทพในปกรณัมจะไม่เป็นผลเเต่อย่างใด หากไม่เดินทางไปเยือนให้เห็นกับตาด้วยตนเอง ความเห็นส่วนตัวของผู้เขียน “ …กรุงโรมก็ยังคงยินดีต้อนรับเราเสมอทุกครั้งที่เราสะดวก เเละเเวะเวียนไป”<\/p>\n
