She\u2019s a little different from the other students, and there are quite a few unexpected events that happen along the way. As for preparation, when I read the script, each game we have to play is explained in detail. The production team also takes the time to make sure we understand each game fully before we actually start filming.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gemini: <\/strong>“I feel the same way. Previously, I\u2019ve mostly played roles in romantic comedies, so this series is a completely new genre for me. That\u2019s what makes it so exciting, just as Prim mentioned. My character is called Samut. He\u2019s incredibly sharp and clever, but he also has a slightly mysterious side. There\u2019s a backstory that shaped him, and I\u2019d love for everyone to watch and discover what it is, and see how he helps his friends navigate through the game. To prepare, I did a lot of work with the script, studied my character, and participated in workshops. During these workshops, we practised acting and even played games similar to those in the series.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n #legend_th: What were the biggest challenges while filming The Dark Dice?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Gemini:<\/strong> “The script is quite extensive, and we had to understand each game completely, because my character often explains the rules and helps friends navigate through the challenges. We needed to grasp every detail of each game so we could explain it clearly, not just to the other characters, but to the audience as well. Many of the games are adapted from board games people are already familiar with, but with a new dimension. Normally, when you play a board game, it stays on the board, right? Here, though, we actually step into the game itself, which adds an entirely new level of experience.Prim:<\/strong> For me, every scene was a challenge. The series involves a large cast, eight main characters, and we spend a lot of time in scenes together. That means I had to balance my own performance with maintaining the overall visual composition. With so many people in a scene, each shot often focuses on a different actor, so we had to repeat the same scene multiple times. That was exactly when I was entering the entertainment industry and starting to act in series. I had to choose between continuing to study medicine and pursuing a career in entertainment and acting in series. It was definitely a turning point in my life. Honestly, both paths were viable, each with its own advantages and challenges. I chose the path of the entertainment industry, which is why people are able to meet and get to know me today.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Prim:<\/strong> “For me, it\u2019s quite similar. The time I was preparing to enter university was crucial\u2014we had to decide which faculty to apply to. In a way, it felt like choosing the direction of my future as well.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n #legend_th: How does it feel to be leading actors in this series?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Prim:<\/strong> “Gemini is incredibly dedicated to his work. I really admire the logic in his mind, maybe it\u2019s because he studied medicine. He thinks quickly and memorises his lines fast. The script is challenging, especially when you have to explain a game clearly to everyone, it requires a deep understanding. On top of that, he\u2019s funny and brings a lively energy to the set, which is important because the series itself is quite intense.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gemini:<\/strong> “Prim is actually even more dedicated than I am. I\u2019ve seen her consistently prepare and study her lines, no matter how long her previous day was or how late she finished work. I\u2019d ask her if she\u2019d slept yet or what she was doing, and she\u2019d always reply that she was reading the script and doing her homework, even past midnight. It really shows her dedication and deep understanding of her character. As Aom is already quite a complex and layered character, her preparation helps bring that depth to life. Having her on set also adds energy and colour to the set.
