สถานที่ในการจัดงานในครั้งนี้ไม่ได้เกิดขึ้นในประเทศไทยแต่อย่างใด หากแต่เป็นเพื่อนบ้านที่อยู่ไม่ใกล้ไม่ไกลอย่าง อย่างหลวงพระบางที่นับเป็นหนึ่งในเมืองมรดกโลกแห่งยูเนสโกที่โดดเด่นด้วยความงดงามของริมฝั่งแม่น้ำโขงอันเลื่องชื่อ เพื่อแสดงความเคารพต่อเรื่องราวของศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม โดยกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ได้ถูกจัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 17 ตุลาคม 2024 พร้อมกันกับเทศกาลประจำปีอย่าง Light Boat Festival อันถือเป็นหนึ่งในงานบุญศักดิ์สิทธิ์ตามความเชื่อของคนท้องถิ่น ที่ชวนให้หลงใหลด้วยความงดงามของเรือไฟ ขบวนพาเหรด และการถวายดวงไฟตามลำน้ำ สร้างสรรค์บรรยากาศชวนอบอุ่นหัวใจให้กับผู้ที่ได้พบเห็น และมีความเหมาะสมในทุกมิติสำหรับการเป็นองค์ประกอบที่ให้การเฉลิมฉลองวาระครบรอบ 60 ปีของ Sofitel ยิ่งใหญ่และชวนจดจำอย่างแท้จริง<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n

ที่น่าสนใจไปกว่านั้น ด้วยความที่ Sofitel Luang Prabang ได้ตั้งอยู่ในพื้นที่ย่านเมืองเก่าของหลงพระบางและเคยเป็นบ้านพักสำหรับผู้ว่าการฝรั่งเศสของประเทศลาวมาก่อน ทำให้ถึงแม้สถานที่แห่งนี้จะได้ถูกปรับโฉมใหม่ในปี 2010 และได้รับการบูรณะเพิ่มเติมในปี 2015 แต่อัตลักษณ์แห่งความหรูหรายังคงอยู่อย่างไม่เสื่อมคลาย และเพื่อเฉลิมฉลองให้กับวาระครบรอบสองทศวรรษของหลวงพระบางที่ได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นมรดกโลกของยูเนสโก ทำให้ Sofitel Luang Prabang ได้ถูกตกแต่งขึ้นใหม่ให้มีการผสมผสานความโอ่อ่าของสถาปัตยกรรมฝรั่งเศสเข้ากับมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมของหลวงพระบางได้อย่างตระการตา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสวนสวยสะอาดตา สถาปัตยกรรมภายในที่สืบทอดมาอย่างยาวนาน ไปจนถึงสระว่ายน้ำสีม่วงเข้ม ทำให้การเฉลิมฉลองในครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงแต่จะเป็นการระลึกถึงความโอ่อ่าในอดีตเพียงเท่านั้น แต่ยังคงเป็นเสมือนหลักฐานสำคัญที่แสดงออกถึงความเป็นผู้นำด้านการโรงแรมของ Sofitel ตลอด 60 ปีที่ผ่านมา นับตั้งแต่การเปิดโรงแรมแห่งแรกในสตราสบูร์ก ประเทศฝรั่งเศสเมื่อปี 1964<\/p>\n

โดยนิทรรศการเอกของอีเวนท์ในครั้งนี้อย่าง The Light Within ได้รับการออกแบบและจัดแสดงขึ้นอย่างสุดวิจิตร ผ่านแรงบันดาลใจของภาพโมเสกของสิม วัดเซียงทอง ที่เป็นหนึ่งในสถานที่ทางศาสนาที่สำคัญในหลวงพระบางที่มีความสำคัญทางจิตวิญญาณและศิลปะ โดยการจัดดอกไม้และองค์ประกอบทางด้านศิลปะในครั้งนี้ยังได้คุณสกุล อินทกุล ศิลปินผู้เป็นที่รู้จักในด้านการใช้ดอกไม้และธรรมชาติมาสร้างศิลปะร่วมสมัยที่น่าตื่นตามาร่วมรังสรรค์ผลงานให้กับทางโรงแรมในครั้งนี้อีกด้วย เพื่อสื่อสารถึงเรื่องราวของศิลปะ จิตวิญญาณ ที่ควบรวมเข้ากับธรรมเนีบมโบราณให้กับผู้ที่ได้พบเห็น โดยอีเวนท์ในครั้งนี้ได้ถูกจัดขึ้นที่ Sofitel Luang Prabang ทำให้เทศกาลเรือไฟที่แฝงไปด้วยประเพณีดั้งเดิมมีความร่วมสมัยมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยภายในงานครั้งนี้ยังมีบุคคลมากชื่อเสียงและแขกผู้มีเกียรติในแวดวงศิลปะมาร่วมงานกันอย่างคับคลั่ง<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n
