Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Enamel ‘Horse’

Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils the Reverso Tribute Enamel ‘Horse’, a timepiece that brings the poetry of the Chinese zodiac into a vision of modern elegance. At its heart is a beautifully engraved caseback featuring a majestic horse, the emblem of 2026, captured in a powerful leap through golden flames. Set against a deep black Grand Feu enamel background, the horse’s mane, muzzle, and hooves are subtly highlighted in black rhodium, adding depth and drama to the scene. This miniature masterpiece took around 80 hours to complete and was crafted at the Atelier des Métiers Rares.

On the front, the dial is finished in rich black Grand Feu enamel, achieved through multiple firings at 800°C to create a mirror-smooth, inky surface. Encased in warm pink gold, the Reverso appears both sleek and refined, its slim 45.6 x 27.4 mm silhouette underscoring its elegant poise. Dauphine hands sweep gracefully across the dial, while pink gold appliqué hour markers shimmer softly in the light, and a black alligator strap with a matching double folding pink gold buckle completes the look with quiet confidence.

Hublot Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Horse

The Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Horse channels the Dragon-Horse spirit, a symbol of ambition, endurance and forward momentum in Chinese culture. Inspired by Tang-dynasty artistry, the dial comes alive with a powerful, flower-dappled horse, traced in sculptural gold lines that seem to move with kinetic energy across a hand-crafted carbon marquetry surface. Accented with 3N gold-plated brass elements forming the horse motif, the composition highlights Hublot’s mastery of high-performance materials.

The 42 mm tonneau-shaped case, crafted in matte black carbon, is set against a black lacquer base to heighten contrast and depth, while a smoked sapphire caseback reveals the MHUB1710 automatic movement with an approximately 50-hour power reserve. Finished with a black calf-rubber strap, this limited-edition timepiece captures a bold interplay of strength and precision.

IWC Portugieser Automatic 42 Year of the Horse

IWC Schaffhausen ushers in the Year of the Horse with the Portugieser Automatic 42 Year of the Horse, a limited edition of just 500 pieces that blends cultural symbolism with effortless Swiss elegance. In Chinese tradition, the horse stands for energy, determination, and good fortune—qualities that resonate beautifully with the Portugieser’s timeless design.

The 42 mm stainless-steel case appears slimmer and more refined, framed by box-shaped sapphire crystals on both sides, while the rich burgundy dial draws on the auspicious reds of Lunar New Year celebrations. The signature layout remains perfectly balanced, with small seconds at 9 o’clock and a power reserve indicator at 3, accented by warm golden hands and numerals, and finished with a discreet date at 6 o’clock.

At its heart beats the in-house Calibre 52011 beats with quiet confidence, featuring IWC’s Pellaton winding system, ceramic components, and an impressive seven-day power reserve from twin barrels. Turn the watch over, and a sapphire case back reveals a gold-plated rotor shaped like a galloping horse—a poetic nod to the spirit of the lunar zodiac. Paired with interchangeable black and deep burgundy alligator straps.
