“…This year marks a remarkable moment for two rising stars, Keng Harit Buayoi and Namping Napatsakorn Pingmuang, who have captured widespread attention following theirbreakthrough roles inthe hit romantic-horror series “Khemjira the Series.” The show reshapes the conventions of the BL genre, delving into intense emotions, mystery, and local spiritual beliefs. The duo’s on-screen connection has become nothing short of magnetic. The undeniable chemistry between the characters, Phor Kru Pharan, the mystic teacher, and the cursed Khemjira – has drawn massive public fascination, sending them trending across social media every week. Their popularity is no coincidence, but the result of heartfelt performances, emotional nuance, and unmistakable dedication.…”

Their cover shoot for #legend Thailand, built around the theme of the “RED THREAD SENSATION,” is more than a fashion concept; it reflects their journeys. Though raised in different provinces and on different life paths, fate brought them together at the perfect moment, allowing them to work seamlessly as if connected by something greater than mere coincidence.

In conversation, it becomes clear that their rising phenomenon stems not from fleeting trends or polished images, but from a genuine energy they share – quiet, gentle, yet remarkably powerful. What follows is a conversation that captures their essence, perspectives, and the kind of energy that has turned them into one of the most compelling duos of the year.

#legend_th: Let’s talk about the “red thread” theme of this cover shoot. Do you believe in the idea that some connections are destined?

Keng: “I might not know every detail behind the red-thread concept, but it aligns closely with Khemjira the Series, so I was very happy when I learned this would be the theme.”

Namping: “I think everyone’s journey is shaped by something like destiny. The red thread is simply a symbolic way of expressing those meaningful ties and the care we feel for one another. But at its core, it’s really about the relationships we build.”

#legend_th: Was there a moment when you thought, “I’m glad we met at this exact time”?

Keng: “Many moments, honestly. It goes back to the beginning, when we first became partners. Looking back now, I feel lucky that he is still my partner and that we’re still working together today.”

Namping: “I feel lucky too. I’m not sure how everything came together so perfectly, maybe it was coincidence, timing, destiny, or all of the above. We grew up in different provinces, but we have similarities, we’re both small-town boys with dreams of working in entertainment. I’m just glad that when that ribbon was pulled, the person at the other end happened to be him.”

#legend_th: What does “someone who walks alongside you well” mean to each of you?

Keng: “To me, it’s someone who can adjust to each other along the journey. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. The longer you walk together, the more those traits will show. Problems arise when expectations build. The only way to move forward together is through mutual adjustment.”

Namping: “I think it’s someone who understands you, someone who supports you, whether your goals are similar or not. It’s not about achieving the highest success; it’s about being there for each other. On happy days, you celebrate together. On difficult days, you stay by each other’s side. That’s what it means.”
