“…The seventh edition of LVMH Watch Week wrapped up in mid-January, and while the line-up remains more intimate than the sprawling scale of other major watch fairs, the creations unveiled by the group’s maisons once again proved that impact is never about numbers alone. From jewellery-led statements to technically audacious complications, these are the watches that truly stood out, #legend_th’s edit of the pieces that seamlessly marry design, and modern watchmaking confidence…”

BVLGARI TUBOGAS MANCHETTE

Few maisons blur the line between jewellery and watchmaking quite like Bvlgari, and the Tubogas Manchette is a masterclass in doing exactly that. Crafted in 18-carat gold, its iconic Tubogas bracelet wraps the wrist with fluid ease, radiating outward from a diamond-set dial in a sunburst pattern that feels unapologetically glamorous.

Coloured gemstones—citrines, peridots, and topazes—add subtle flashes of colour, while the automatic BVS 100 Lady Solotempo movement quietly anchors the piece in horological substance. Bold, sculptural, and unmistakably Roman in spirit, it is a striking expression of Bvlgari’s jewellery-led watchmaking language.

MAGLIA MILANESE MONETE SECRET WATCH

Equally captivating is the Maglia Milanese Monete Secret Watch, a poetic return to the Monete design first introduced in the mid-1960s. A rose-gold Milanese mesh bracelet meets an authentic ancient coin depicting Emperor Caracalla (AD 198–297), concealing a discreet dial beneath. Powered by the ultra-compact Piccolissimo BVP100, it is as much an objet d’art as it is a timepiece.

GÉRALD GENTA GENEVA TIME-ONLY

Sometimes, restraint is the ultimate luxury. Gérald Genta’s Geneva Time-Only proves exactly that. Inspired by last year’s Geneva Minute Repeater, this refined iteration strips the concept back to its essence—hours and minutes, beautifully executed. The 38mm cushion-shaped case feels perfectly judged, paired with warm, textured dials and a distinctive single lug on each side that subtly redefines the silhouette. Offered in Marrone (18-carat 4N rose gold with a brown gradient dial) and Grafite (white gold with a silver-toned dial), both versions are powered by the GG-005P, a finely tuned interpretation of the ultra-thin Zenith Elite automatic.

HUBLOT BIG BANG TOURBILLON NOVAK DJOKOVIC GOAT EDITION

With the Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition, Hublot delivers one of the most conceptually compelling watches of the week. Created as a tribute to tennis legend Novak Djokovic, the trilogy draws direct inspiration from the courts that shaped his career: 72 blue pieces for hard courts, 21 orange for clay, and just eight green for grass—101 watches in total.

The 44mm case is crafted from a proprietary composite incorporating fragments of Djokovic’s Lacoste polo shirts and Head tennis racquets, while the case middle is made from Titaplast®, keeping the total weight to an astonishingly light 56 grams. The dial mimics the tension of racket strings through a single filament measuring just 0.55mm in thickness, all powered by Hublot’s MHUB6035 automatic tourbillon.

LOUIS VUITTON ESCALE WORLDTIME

Travel has always been at the heart of Louis Vuitton, and with the return of the Escale Worldtime, the Maison reconnects with one of its most poetic complications. For the first time, both the Worldtime and Worldtime Tourbillon are presented in platinum, housed in a refined 40mm Escale case inspired by the reinforced metal corners of Louis Vuitton’s historic trunks.

The iconic ring of 24 hand-painted flags remains, now rendered in a more subdued and contemporary palette. The true showstopper, however, is the Escale Worldtime Tourbillon, where a flying tourbillon shaped like the Monogram flower beats at the centre of the dial. Developed entirely by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, the movement offers a 62-hour power reserve and showcases exceptional Métiers d’Art, from meticulous hand-painting to grand feu enamelling.

ESCALE TIGER’S EYE

Limited to just 30 pieces, the Escale Tiger’s Eye pushes the collection into even more expressive territory. Carved from a single block of tiger’s eye stone, both the case and dial display natural striations unique to each watch, framed for the first time in yellow gold. Inside, the chronometer-certified LFT023 movement with a rose-gold micro-rotor brings technical credibility, while gold hands and a PVD-coated titanium seconds hand strike a refined balance between warmth and modernity.

TAG HEUER CARRERA SEAFARER

With the Carrera Seafarer Chronograph, TAG Heuer turns its gaze to the open sea. Housed in the contemporary 42mm Carrera “Glassbox” case, the watch revives the spirit of the 1949 Seafarer with a rare tidal indication complication. A dedicated pusher adjusts the rotating tide disc, which tracks lunar cycles with remarkable precision. The champagne dial, accented with gold-toned details and soft pastel sub-dials, nods to the yacht that won the 1967 America’s Cup. Paired with a Beads-of-Rice bracelet and powered by the TH20-04, it is a charming blend of heritage and function.

TIFFANY & CO. TIFFANY TIMER

Returning to LVMH Watch Week for the second time, Tiffany & Co. celebrates its watchmaking heritage with the Tiffany Timer, a limited edition of just 60 pieces. Inspired by the original 1866 Tiffany Timing Watch—one of the earliest American stopwatches—the new iteration feels both nostalgic and resolutely modern. A polished 40mm platinum case frames a luminous Tiffany Blue lacquer dial, developed over more than 50 hours and set with baguette-cut diamond hour markers. Turn the watch over to discover an 18-carat gold Bird on a Rock perched on the rotor of the self-winding El Primero 400.

ZENITH DEFY SKYLINE CHRONOGRAPH BLACK CERAMIC

Rounding out the highlights is the Zenith Defy Skyline Chronograph Black Ceramic, making its first appearance in full black ceramic. The angular case and subtle fumé dial create a sleek, contemporary presence, while polished hands and Super-LumiNova ensure clarity. Inside, the high-frequency El Primero 3600 delivers serious chronograph credentials, paired with both a rubber strap and a matching ceramic bracelet for added versatility.
