“…At a time when the name Methika “JaneYeh” Jiranorraphat is being mentioned more frequently, both on screen and beyond, the journey of this young actress has never been driven by a fleeting stroke of luck. Instead, it has been carefully shaped by dedication, perseverance, and quiet resilience over more than a decade in the entertainment industry…”

From being crowned Second Runner-Up of Miss Teen Thailand, to becoming a member of the girl group SIZZY, and ultimately growing into an actress whose craft is now widely recognised, JaneYeh’s path has been one of steady evolution.
Her portrayal of ‘Xiao Yu’ in the series, Mad Unicorn, marked a defining moment, one that not only reshaped public perception of her as an actress, but also became a turning point in her understanding of work, collaboration, and the sudden weight of visibility that success can bring.
“Getting here was never about me alone,” she reflects. “For Mad Unicorn to become what it is, every single element had to work together. Teamwork is incredibly important, and I learned so much from that. Even when the camera isn’t on your face, you still have to deliver the emotion to your co-actor. Because that’s how the scene truly comes alive. It feels like we’re all creating something meaningful together.”

That experience also taught her the value of staying grounded, even when the spotlight shines brightest.
“No matter how much recognition you receive, you can’t lose yourself,” she says. “Staying humble is the most important thing. You must never forget how difficult the journey was to get here. You have to appreciate every opportunity, and every piece of work deserves your absolute best.”
For JaneYeh, acting has never been merely a profession; rather it is a series of life lessons that gradually shape who she is today.
“Acting teaches me so much. With every role, I get to understand a different life, a different perspective. As actors, we have to fully understand our characters, even when they’re flawed or morally ambiguous. That process allows us to see the world more broadly, and ultimately, more positively.”

Xiao Yu was once a character she believed to be worlds apart from her own personality. Yet, over time, that certainty began to shift as she came to understand both the role and herself more deeply.
“At first, I used to say there was nothing about us that was similar. Xiao Yu felt so different from who I am. But as I grew to understand myself better, I realised we share decisiveness and courage. Once I make a decision, I’m very clear about it.”
In Mad Unicorn, Xiao Yu faces a pivotal choice between pursuing her dreams and opting for a secure, stable life. If faced with a similar decision in reality, JaneYeh firmly believes that everyone deserves at least one chance to follow their dreams.
“Everyone should try to follow their dreams at least once in their life. If there’s something you want to do, you should try it. As for stability, if it’s meant to come, it will come in its own time. I’ve never been someone who chases security too hard. I’m more driven by dreams, and I still genuinely enjoy what I do.”
