Since its debut, Cartier has defined the collection with distinctive clarity: “A classic style? No! It’s neo-classical, singular, unisex, whimsical.” Classicism is thus reinterpreted through a modern lens, taking on a more fluid and individual expression shaped by a sense of understated imagination. What appears minimal at first glance reveals an intricate level of craftsmanship beneath the surface. Each metal stud is engineered to connect with precision, allowing the piece to move with a natural, seamless rhythm through techniques developed exclusively for this collection.
The visual sharpness of the studs is offset by a remarkably smooth and supple touch, resting effortlessly against the skin. Geometry and movement are held in careful balance, defined by a quiet sense of control. For the new collection Clash de Cartier extends its design language with the introduction of flexible necklaces and bracelets in yellow gold, marking a new chapter for the collection. Previously limited to rose and white gold, these new creations rely on more than 600 individual components, each assembled with millimetric precision to ensure fluidity and ease of wear.
A further layer of intrigue lies in its subtle sensory dimension. As the pieces move, their internal structure generates a soft, almost imperceptible vibration, producing a delicate sound that feels intimate and alive.The collection continues to evolve through colour. Onyx, vibrant red and green agate, and soft pink chalcedony are composed into polished bead strands.
