“…The stage is set once again for the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2025, an international exhibition organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Now in its 17th edition, the event will take place from 6–8 November 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, serving as one of Asia’s most significant showcases for the premium beverage industry. The fair will bring together producers, importers, and buyers from across the globe under one roof…”

This year, hundreds of exhibitors from around the world will present an exceptional selection of beverages, from legendary wines and rare whiskies to distinctive local spirits that embody the unique character of their origins. Complementing these are a wide range of wine-related products and services, reinforcing Hong Kong’s position as a “global hub for premium beverage trade” in every sense.

A key highlight not to be missed is the “World of Spirits” zone, specially curated to showcase spirits from over ten countries including China, Ireland, Russia, and Australia. Among them are iconic Chinese spirits such as Guizhou Moutai and Luzhou Laojiao, offering visitors a rare opportunity to experience the allure of Baijiu. The fair will also feature a dedicated area for local Hong Kong distillers, celebrating the city’s creativity and distinct flavour identity.

Adding to the excitement, the event will feature a remarkable presentation of wines from both the Old and New Worlds, as well as the increasingly popular low- and no-alcohol beverages, catering to a new generation of health-conscious consumers. The “Friends of Wine” section will further enhance the tasting journey, offering an array of gourmet pairings designed to elevate the overall wine experience.

Beyond product showcases and tastings, the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2025 continues to play a pivotal role as a knowledge-sharing and business networking platform. One of the most anticipated highlights is the return of “Connoisseur’s Picks”, where renowned wine experts such as Carlito Chiu, Dr Calvin Choi, and XING Wei MW will conduct blind tastings to select and unveil the finest wines and spirits of the year, an exclusive revelation sure to inspire buyers and collectors alike.

The fair’s prestige extends further with Masters of Wine Debra Meiburg, Jennifer Docherty, and XING Wei, who will host in-depth seminars, tastings, and educational sessions, sharing their expertise and insights with attendees. The programme also includes award presentations recognising outstanding contributions within the industry, strengthening Hong Kong’s reputation as Asia’s leading hub for wine and spirits.

Across the three-day event, the first two days will be open exclusively to trade professionals, while 8 November will welcome the public to experience tastings from around the world, join insightful talks and interactive workshops. Ultimately, the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2025 is not only a bridge connecting producers and buyers, but also a cultural platform that celebrates the art of taste, a universal language that transcends borders.
