HYROX Thailand 2026 wrapped up on 22 March 2026, marking one of the country’s biggest fitness events. The competition seamlessly blended running with high-intensity functional training, creating an electrifying atmosphere where participants could push their limits and unleash their full energy.
HYROX tests both endurance and strength in an accessible yet truly challenging format. As a global fitness competition, it combines 8 kilometres of running (1 km per lap) with 8 functional workout stations, including sled push, sled pull, burpees, rowing, and wall balls. Its standardised format allows athletes to compare results internationally, and the event welcomes participants of all levels, from beginners to professional athletes.

This year marked the second edition of HYROX Thailand, which drew an impressive 17,500 participants, including novices, seasoned athletes, and celebrities. Over three action-packed days (20–22 March 2026), the event delivered excitement, colour, and energy that rivalled even the previous year’s edition.
The Eight Endurance Challenges Awaiting Conquest
As we know, HYROX features eight endurance challenges, each designed to test different aspects of strength, stamina, and technique. The 2026 course included:
- SkiErg – 1,000 metres: The first station targets the arms, shoulders, and core, simulating a skiing motion.
- Sled Push – 50 metres: This challenge engages the lower body, back, core, and thighs as participants push a sled to the finish line.
- Sled Pull – 50 metres: Continuing with the sled, this station switches to pulling over a 50-metre distance.
- Burpee Broad Jump – 80 metres: A full-body challenge combining burpees and broad jumps across 80 metres, pushing strength and coordination.
- Rowing – 1,000 metres: At station five, participants must row the full distance on the rowing machine, testing endurance and upper-body strength.
- Farmers Carry – 200 metres: Carry heavy weights alongside the body while walking or running 200 metres, marking the start of the second half of the course.
- Sandbag Lunges – 100 metres: Participants carry a sandbag weighing 10, 20, or 30 kg on their shoulders while performing lunges for 100 metres—a surefire sweat-inducing station.
- Wall Balls – 100 reps: The final challenge combines 100 wall-ball throws with a 1-kilometre run, demanding both power and stamina.
After completing all eight stations, participants can review their total time, as well as split times for each station and their ranking. This allows competitors to assess their strengths and weaknesses, identify areas to improve, and plan future training strategies.

Why HYROX Attracts So Much Attention
HYROX has captured global attention because it is a world-class competition with a standardised format used across the globe. Every participant can compare their results internationally, making it ideal for fitness enthusiasts eager to test their physical limits. The event uniquely combines running with eight functional training stations, allowing athletes to measure endurance, strength, and technique, all without overloading the body.
HYROX also caters to all types of competitors through four categories:
- Open: the standard race for general participants
- Pro: for professional athletes
- Doubles: pairs can share the workload and compete together
- Relay: four-person teams tackle the course collaboratively
This variety ensures that everyone—from beginners and casual fitness fans to elite athletes—can take part in the same event with confidence.
For HYROX Thailand 2026, participants are strongly advised to prepare their bodies beforehand, practising each movement to build muscle strength, improve endurance, and familiarise themselves with the exercises. Most importantly, the event allows you to discover your personal limits. Understanding your boundaries not only prevents injury but also ensures you can fully enjoy the competition and challenge yourself safely.
