“…For more than 150 years, Fritz Hansen, the legendary design house from Copenhagen, Denmark, has been crafting furniture and design pieces that have become global icons. Through the seamless fusion of masterful craftsmanship and timeless Scandinavian aesthetics, Fritz Hansen continues to define the essence of modern design…”

Now, this legacy arrives in Bangkok in an exclusive Pop-up at Central Chidlom, from 1–19 October 2025, hosted by NORSE Republics, the sole official importer of Fritz Hansen in Thailand. At the Fritz Hansen Pop-up: Central Chidlom, design enthusiasts and furniture aficionados will encounter an extensive collection spanning chairs, tables, lighting, and home accessories, each piece embodying the brand’s heritage of refined craftsmanship and understated luxury rooted in Scandinavian traditions.

A highlight not to be missed is the Egg™ Chair Live Sewing, a masterclass demonstration of the iconic Egg™ Chair, originally designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958. Renowned for its meticulous production process, the Egg™ Chair requires over 1,100 hand stitches to achieve its signature sculptural curves with absolute precision.

Visitors will have the rare opportunity to witness this delicate process up close, led by Danish craftsman Damian Macherzyński, who will hand-stitch three special-edition Egg™ Chairs in exclusive hues, Terre Royale, Timeless Silt, and Majestic Umber. Each colour will be represented by just a single chair worldwide, with every piece accompanied by a Certification of Authenticity from Fritz Hansen, ensuring its enduring value.

The Egg™ Chair Live Sewing Special Viewing Session will take place from 10–12 October at the Personal Shopping Suite, 1st Floor, Central Chidlom. This exclusive showcase promises an extraordinary opportunity to witness first-hand the artistry behind one of the most celebrated furniture designs of the past century.
