“…The opening of Fairmont Hanoi marks a significant new milestone for the global hospitality landscape, as Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, under the Accor umbrella, unveils its very first flagship property in Vietnam. This debut signals more than an expansion, it is a thoughtful convergence of contemporary design, cultural heritage, and the rich local artistry that has shaped Hanoi for over a thousand years…”

Set within the iconic Old Quarter, Fairmont Hanoi announces a new chapter of luxury, one that seamlessly connects past, present, and the living rhythm of the city with unmistakable soul. Designed by Perkins Eastman in collaboration with Aston Design, the property draws profound inspiration from Hanoi’s enduring relationship with the Red River, a quiet yet constant narrator of the city’s history. This sensibility unfolds through layered spaces, the poetic use of natural light, and carefully considered proportions that invite life to slow, pause, and breathe with intention. Interiors echo rituals, beliefs, and everyday spirituality, while the architectural composition finds its grounding in the Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long, lending the hotel a sense of permanence, dignity, and timeless grace.

Fairmont Hanoi offers 241 guest rooms, including 38 Fairmont Gold rooms and 12 suites, each designed with a sense of quiet confidence. The highlight, the Presidential Suite, masterfully blends Art Deco influences with Vietnamese elegance, creating a sanctuary defined by refinement and restraint. Every stay is conceived as an opportunity to restore, reflect, and reconnect with the city in an effortless, natural way.

Positioned as “The Modern Heartbeat of Hanoi,” the hotel continues Fairmont’s long-standing tradition of becoming the social nucleus of its destination. Across eight restaurants, bars, and lounges, Fairmont Hanoi curates a vibrant culinary landscape that is set to redefine the city’s dining scene. Tran Dynasty, led by celebrated Chef Luke Nguyen, presents contemporary Vietnamese cuisine with reverence and reinvention, from slow-cooked beef infused with dates and spices to clay-baked sea bass and a refined interpretation of phở trộn.

Hiryu, inspired by Japanese brushwork and the symbolism of the dragon, offers layered dining experiences ranging from sushi counters and teppanyaki tables to intimate private rooms.

At Bacco, Michelin-starred Chef Nicolas Isnard delivers Italian Mediterranean flavours with confidence and theatrical flair, where an open kitchen transforms every meal into a performance. High above the city, Pool Terrace & Bar provides an elegant escape, bathed in Hanoi’s golden light, an elevated retreat that balances relaxation with refinement. Meanwhile, 10 Central Café, YY Bar, and the Fairmont Gold Lounge are already welcoming guests with curated experiences from day one.

Wellness takes centre stage at The Cirua Spa, Fitness & Wellness Club, a spectacular 38,000-square-foot urban sanctuary and Hanoi’s first of its kind. Featuring a ritual-led bathhouse, hydrotherapy facilities, plunge pools, saunas, steam rooms, ten private treatment rooms, and a thoughtfully designed fitness studio, the space is dedicated to restoring harmony between body and mind.

For celebrations and landmark gatherings, Fairmont Hanoi sets a new benchmark with the largest pillarless ballroom in the Old Quarter, spanning 12,000 square feet, complemented by naturally lit meeting rooms and event spaces. With over 4,000 square metres dedicated to MICE facilities, the hotel is poised to host everything from intimate celebrations to international conferences with equal distinction.

The arrival of Fairmont Hanoi is not merely the addition of a new luxury address, it is the beginning of a narrative deeply rooted in place, culture, and community. A hotel that does not simply reside in Hanoi, but belongs to it.
