2025 has been another electrifying year for the global entertainment industry—packed with unforgettable moments across film, television, and music. From international productions that put Thailand in the global spotlight to homegrown artists pushing T-Pop and Thai series onto the world stage, #legend_TH invites you to look back at the standout highlights from both Thai and international entertainment this year.
GLOBAL MOMENTS

We begin with one of the year’s most talked-about prestige series, The White Lotus Season 3. The satirical drama from the U.S. returned with a new season filmed entirely in Thailand—spanning Bangkok, Phuket, and Koh Samui. The season also featured Thai talents including National Artist Lek Patravadi, alongside acclaimed actors Dom Hetrakul and Tayme Maethi, as well as global superstar LISA Lalisa, who made her acting debut to widespread praise. Her performance became a major talking point worldwide, cementing this season as one of the most buzzed-about TV moments of the year.
On the streaming front, Netflix once again delivered a global phenomenon with the animated series KPop Demon Hunters. The show follows girl group HUNTR/X, who balance life as idols with their secret identity as demon hunters. Blending idol culture with fantasy, the series captured audiences worldwide—especially through hit songs like “Golden” and “Soda Pop”, which quickly became the unofficial soundtracks of 2025, playing everywhere you went.

In music, one of the most earth-shaking moments of the year was the news of Taylor Swift’s engagement. The announcement reaffirmed her status as a true cultural figure—an artist whose every move instantly becomes a global conversation.
Equally headline-grabbing was the long-awaited reunion of legendary brothers from Oasis, finally sharing the stage again after years apart. The moment reignited Britpop nostalgia, bringing together fans across generations and proving the enduring power of shared musical memories.
Meanwhile, K-pop in 2025 was driven by the energy of a new generation of artists—most notably Cortis. With bold fashion and a clear musical direction, tracks like “GO!” and “FaSHioN” delivered full-throttle Y2K vibes, confidence, and edge. The group quickly became a symbol of a new wave of K-pop artists unafraid to break away from convention.
THAI ENTERTAINMENT ON THE RISE

Thai entertainment this year proved it can stand shoulder to shoulder with the global scene. 4EVE made history as the first T-Pop girl group to perform at Tokyo Dome, a dream venue for artists worldwide with a capacity of over 55,000. The milestone reflected the growing potential of Thailand’s music industry on an international level.
Adding to that momentum, BUS because of you i shine announced their upcoming appearance on M COUNTDOWN—one of K-pop’s most influential music shows—in South Korea in February 2026. This marks another major step in expanding T-Pop’s presence and influence in the global market.
In the Thai series world, Boys’ Love (BL) and Girls’ Love (GL) continued to shine as one of the country’s strongest soft powers. The year kicked off with GELBOYS, starring rising stars New Chayapak, Pipe Monthapoom, PJ Mahidol, and Leon Brocco. Beyond entertainment, the series sparked new youth culture trends—from fashion and styling to nail art—cementing its influence among Gen Z audiences.

Mid-year brought Channel 3’s second sapphic series, Only You The Series, starring fan-favorite duo Lingling Kwong and Orm Kornnaphat. The intense love story between an actress and her personal bodyguard delivered viral moments, especially the line “Do you know, Ira…?”, which quickly turned into a social media challenge.
Another standout was the romantic horror series Khemjira the Series, which redefined the BL genre through mystery and local folklore. With performances by Keng Harit, Namping Napatsakorn, Tle Matiman, and Firstone Wannakorn, the character “Pharan” became a nationwide favorite almost overnight.
The year closed on a heartwarming note with Me and Thee, a romantic comedy that won over viewers with its light, feel-good tone and irresistible charm. Starring Pond Naravit and Phuwin Tangsakyuen, the series delivered smiles, laughs, and pillow-grabbing moments every few minutes—complete with playful references to iconic lines from classic Thai dramas.
“See you again next year… you stubborn one.”
