Casio, a global leader in watchmaking innovation, celebrated the launch of the EDIFICE EFK-100 series, marking the brand’s first-ever mechanical watch. Drawing inspiration from the world of premium automotive engineering, this collection showcases Casio’s commitment to fusing cutting-edge technology with sophisticated design.
Inspired by motorsports, the EDIFICE EFK-100 series stands out with its case and dial crafted from Forged Carbon—a lightweight yet highly durable material commonly used in the chassis of high-performance sports cars. By blending carbon fiber with resin under high heat and pressure, each dial features a unique pattern, making every timepiece truly one of a kind.

The EDIFICE EFK-100 offers a power reserve of up to 40 hours and is equipped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. A see-through case back further reveals the intricate inner workings of the mechanical movement. The dial design emphasizes minimalism with only three hands and a date display, reflecting the EDIFICE philosophy of merging precision with the spirit of automotive performance.
The EFK-100 series debuts in three models:
- EFK-100XPB (Special Edition) – A striking black design with a case and dial made entirely of Forged Carbon, embodying a sporty yet elegant personality. Paired with a durable polyurethane strap.
- EFK-100CD – Features a unique Forged Carbon dial for each piece, complemented by a robust stainless-steel case and bracelet.
- EFK-100D – Offers three dial color variations inspired by Forged Carbon patterns achieved through electroforming: EFK-100D-2ADR (Blue), EFK-100D-3ADR (Green) and EFK-100D-7ADR (White)

The launch of the EFK-100 series not only represents a bold step forward for EDIFICE in the realm of mechanical watchmaking but also underscores Casio’s dedication to bringing advanced materials and technology from the world of motorsports into the art of timekeeping.
