“…Set against the serene dusk of the Chao Phraya River and within a historic riverside mansion dating back to the 1830s, Boucheron unveiled an intimate and highly curated high jewellery dinner under the name “Baan Boucheron” at the Embassy of France in Thailand. Conceived as a private and immersive experience, the evening opened a refined gateway into the creative universe of the Maison, where the excellence of French haute joaillerie was seamlessly interwoven with the subtle elegance of Thai sensibility…”

The journey began at Le Jardin d’Hiver, an outdoor reception space inspired by the classic French winter garden, delicately enhanced with Thai nuances. As twilight descended, the doors opened to reveal an interior entirely reimagined with cascading ivy, orchids, and deep green hues synonymous with Boucheron’s identity. Soft lighting, natural textures, and meticulously considered details came together to create an atmosphere both intimate and reassuring, an elegant sanctuary that expressed the Maison’s contemporary spirit while embracing a gentle Thai softness.

Ascending to the upper level of Baan Boucheron, guests were introduced to a more private chapter of the evening, welcomed by three iconic creations that distilled the very essence of the Maison’s creative philosophy. The first, from the high jewellery collection Contemplation, captured fleeting moments as if time itself had been suspended, an expression of the profound and poetic vision of Claire Choisne, Boucheron’s Creative Director. This was followed by Vendôme Liseré, a tribute to the Maison’s Parisian roots and the Place Vendôme, articulated through refined Art Deco lines and striking emerald-cut diamonds. The presentation concluded with Wladimir from the Animaux de Collection, the Maison’s emblematic cat reimagined in sculpted gold and luminous gemstones, bridging heritage and contemporary imagination with effortless grace.

Within the reception space, guests were invited to experience an exclusive showcase that brought Boucheron’s most recognisable creations into close focus. The presentation opened with Quatre, the contemporary icon first introduced in 2004, celebrated for its bold graphic identity. This was followed by Like a Queen from the high jewellery collection Histoire de Style 2023, alongside pieces from Nature Triomphante. Among the highlights was an aquamarine ring inspired by the twin brooches presented to Queen Elizabeth in 1937, paired with the Question Mark necklace and earrings from Plume de Paon, continuing Boucheron’s long-standing dialogue with the natural world.

The narrative unfolded further with a transformable Plume de Paon bracelet, before moving into Animaux de Collection, featuring bracelets and rings from Cheval de l’Opéra and earrings from Serpent Bohème. Each piece reflected the Maison’s mastery of sculptural realism and exceptional craftsmanship, hallmarks of Boucheron’s creative DNA.

The evening reached its crescendo with Power of Couture from the high jewellery Carte Blanche 2024 collection, where Boucheron pushed the boundaries of craftsmanship into the realm of true haute couture. Tiaras, rings, buttons, and earrings were presented as sculptural forms crafted from rock crystal and diamonds, remarkable for both their technical precision and extraordinary lightness. Les Épaulettes captivated with their complex structure, draping across the body like fabric and transforming effortlessly into bracelets, challenging conventional perceptions of high jewellery.

The night concluded on an elegant note with the Mauve necklace from the Signature collection, crafted in white gold, platinum, and pear-shaped emeralds, accompanied by the Solitaire 26 Vendôme ring from the Architecture collection. Together, they offered a refined finale, celebrating geometric purity and the enduring Art Deco spirit of Place Vendôme.

Hosted within the Embassy of France, Baan Boucheron revealed the Maison’s identity and savoir-faire in their fullest expression, reaffirming Boucheron’s vision of jewellery as more than masterful craftsmanship. Instead, it stood as an emotive art form, driven by creativity, audacity, and absolute freedom of design, values that have defined the Maison for over 160 years with unmistakable clarity and elegance.
