The resort’s freediving package is designed to offer guests a complete experience both in the pool and in the open ocean. The programme’s highlight is a full-day boat trip from Beau Vallon, one of the Seychelles’ most picturesque beaches with soft white sands and crystal-clear waters. Guests will train at two renowned sites: Baie Ternay Marine Park and Lilo’t Island. The programme is ideal for small groups and provides full equipment, expert coaching, and the opportunity to earn a globally recognised AIDA Level 1 certificate.
For younger guests aged seven and above, the resort offers a special course tailored to children, combining water safety lessons, confidence-building underwater games, and the chance to receive a Dolphin Freediving certificate.
Set against the turquoise backdrop of Mahé Island, this freediving experience is available year-round (weather permitting), promising guests a memorable adventure beneath the waves during their stay.
Starting 1 September 2025, bookings can be made directly with the resort. Prices begin at €105 for adults and €55 for children. In addition, Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles is offering special accommodation rates starting at €400 per night for two adults in a Garden View Balcony Room, including breakfast, taxes, and service charges.
