2026 marks a significant milestone for Maserati, the iconic marque from Modena, as it celebrates the centenary of the Trident — the emblem that first appeared at the Targa Florio in 1926 and has since become the defining symbol of the brand’s identity for an entire century.

The story of the Trident began when Alfieri Maserati took the legendary Tipo 26 to the starting line, securing a memorable class victory and setting the foundation for what would become one of motoring’s most enduring legacies. That moment represented far more than the beginning of Maserati’s motorsport journey; it was also the first public appearance of the Trident itself, a symbol that would come to embody ambition, courage and a relentless competitive spirit — values that continue to define the brand to this day.
Over the past hundred years, the Trident has travelled through generations of automotive history, accompanying some of Maserati’s most celebrated creations. From victories on the racetrack and technological breakthroughs to the creation of grand touring machines that seamlessly blend performance with Italian elegance, it has evolved into one of the most recognisable and respected symbols in the global automotive world.

To commemorate this historic occasion, Maserati has introduced the theme “100 Years of the Trident”, with particular emphasis on the word “RIDE” — a celebration of the distinctive driving experience that has long defined the brand, combining luxury and sporting character in equal measure. Throughout the year, the anniversary will be honoured through a series of global initiatives spanning motorsport events, concours d’elegance gatherings, new product launches, and cultural programmes that connect the brand’s past, present and future.

In Thailand, these celebrations will be brought to life at MGC-ASIA Mobility Expo 2026, where visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Trident’s century-long journey through immersive multimedia experiences that highlight the innovation, craftsmanship and Italian spirit at the heart of Maserati.

Among the event’s highlights is the presentation of Fuoriserie, Maserati’s bespoke personalisation programme, which offers a deeper insight into the brand’s philosophy of individuality and craftsmanship. Also on display will be the Grecale Folgore Nero Infinito Edition, a high-performance electric SUV that reinterprets modern luxury through striking Gloss Black detailing and extensive carbon-fibre accents, creating a bold and unmistakably contemporary presence.
