To deliver truly holistic wellbeing, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok has refurbished and reimagined its Fitness and Wellness Centre as a contemporary space dedicated to movement, performance enhancement and physical recovery, fully equipped with high-efficiency facilities.
The newly opened Fitness and Wellness Centre centres on the concept of recovery. The hotel believes that genuine holistic wellbeing does not stem from physical exertion alone, but from the integration of body, mind and lifestyle, guided by meticulous, thoughtful care in the true spirit of Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok.

This recovery-led philosophy reveals itself from the very first step inside. Warm-toned wood surfaces form the core material palette, while soft architectural lines and expansive glass windows invite abundant natural light and frame lush greenery outside. One feature wall displays an artistic motif inspired by flowing water, hand-painted by a skilled artist over many dozens of hours. Above the treadmill area, the ceiling features gold-toned metal panels inspired by the shimmering surface of the Chao Phraya River as it catches the morning and evening light. Together, these elements reflect an exceptional level of craftsmanship and sensitivity, offering a refined, contemporary interpretation of Thai identity—calm, elegant and seamlessly attuned to its surroundings.
Upon entering the Fitness Centre, guests discover a thoughtfully zoned space designed to support every form of exercise—whether for rehabilitation, strength building or everyday training. Each piece of equipment has been carefully selected to ensure a safe, confident and effective workout experience. A key highlight is the Muay Thai Studio, where the art of Muay Thai has been reinterpreted as a form of exercise, allowing guests to train while engaging with Thai culture. The centre also features a dedicated HYROX training area, designed to build strength, balance and long-term physical resilience.

Beyond training spaces, the new Fitness and Wellness Centre at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok offers a Performance Recovery Studio devoted to deep relaxation and restoration. This studio combines heat and hydrotherapy to stimulate circulation, rebalance the nervous system and restore clarity to both body and mind, with facilities including a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi.
Guests seeking alternative forms of movement, such as yoga, can visit Yoga House – Baan Noi, a dedicated yoga space set within a traditional Thai house along the Chao Phraya River. Open to natural surroundings and a serene riverside atmosphere, the space invites calm, focus and balance. For those drawn to more dynamic, interactive activity, the centre also offers two tennis courts, where experienced coaches provide close guidance and personalised support.
The newly reimagined Fitness and Wellness Centre is located at Baan Rim Naam, part of The Oriental Spa and Wellness Club at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. Guests can reach the venue by boat from the hotel. For further information, please contact +66 (0) 2 659 9000 or visit mandarinoriental.com/bangkok.
