"...Hublot is at the top in offering variety and references in every colour of the rainbow. Having unveiled a wide selection of new timepieces at LVMH Watch Week not two months earlier, the brand, known for collaborations on its flagship models, has outdone itself yet again with a host of new releases for Watches and Wonders..."

The brand doubles down on its unique take on sapphire cases with an all-new Water Blue Sapphire Big Bang MP-11 and a range of Big Bang Integrated Time-Only watches for the purists.

Just in time for the season, the Big Bang MP11 in Water Blue Sapphire looks as refreshing as a dip in the pool on a hot summer day. The reference that was first launched in 2018 gets a new case, and for the first time in sapphire. Despite its all-new look, the piece retains its most impressive feature: a two-week power reserve propelled by a seven-barrel movement. The in-house movement features an unusual power reserve display that takes up the bottom half of the dial and offers a precise measure of remaining power in days.

The top part of the watch is reserved for the hour and minutes, which is displayed across a smaller sub-counter set atop the skeletonised dial. A rubber strap in a complimenting shade of blue completes the icy look of the watch.

The brand returns things to its roots with a new range of integrated time-only watches. Though they nod to the brand’s origins, these watches are anything but basic. In 38 mm, the new Big Bang Integrated Time-Only comes in six references, each featuring those emblematic design details that put Hublot on the map, including the H-shaped screws on the bezel.

An automatic movement is housed inside the piece, which comes in titanium, gold and ceramic. In all each material is presented in two iterations, with the ceramic pieces in particular standing out in monochromatic navy blue and black. Contrary to what its name might suggest, the Time-Only reference, in fact, features a date indication that’s displayed through an aperture at three o’clock.
