It’s been over two decades since Ulysse Nardin released its first Freak watch. At Watches and Wonders 2023, the Swiss watch maker celebrates the cutting-edge Freak model of 2001 by going back to its roots for the new Freak One
The timepiece features the three signature characteristics of the 2001 model: no dial, no hands, and no crown. It’s all movement for telling the time.
Visually, it’s a synthesis of the visual dynamics of previous generations Freak. But it also breaks new ground by being the first Freak with an integrated rubber strap, made of 30 percent recycled rubber from production waste.
Ulysse Nardin’s latest flagship watch is available at a price tag of HK$533,000.
