At Watches and Wonders 2023, Rolex revealed a number of novelties, some which take on a more colourful and playful tone
Day-Date 36
With the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36, there are three new variants crafted from 18 ct yellow, white or Everose gold. These timepieces display an inspirational keyword in English on the daily in the aperture at 12 o’clock and an exclusive emoji in the window at 3 o’clock. The champlevé enamel dial features a motif inspired by a jigsaw puzzle and ten baguette-cut sapphires in six different hues marking the hours.
Oyster Perpetual
The Oyster Perpetual 31, Oyster Perpetual 36 and Oyster Perpetual 41 are positively bubbling over with colour, thanks to a new dial decoration. Made out of differently sized bubbles with black outlines, the design captures the bright colours of the lacquered dials introduced in 2020, namely candy pink, turquoise blue, yellow, coral red and green.
Cosmograph Daytona
For the 60th anniversary of the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, the timepiece has a new look and a new movement. The case and face has been redesigne while the calibre 4131 keeps it ticking on steadily.
GMT‑Master II
The Oyster Perpetual GMT‑Master II has two new versions decked in 18 ct yellow gold – one a yellow Rolesor version, and the other crafted entirely in this precious metal. Both models feature a bezel with a two-colour Cerachrom insert in grey – a new shade – and black ceramic. They are fitted exclusively on a Jubilee bracelet.
