Tod's unveils an exclusive collection in collaboration with Rahul Mishra

Recently, the brand has reaffirmed its superior status with its latest project, "Rahul Mishra X Tod’s." This exciting collaboration sees Tod’s Factory inviting the globally renowned Indian designer Rahul Mishra to reinterpret the brand’s iconic pieces, including Tod’s Gommino shoes, Tod’s Di Bag, and Tod’s T Timeless jewellery, in a fresh new light. 

For those unfamiliar, Tod’s Factory is indeed a core segment of Tod’s, serving as the birthplace of a plethora of intricate creative ideas. This atelier invites a diverse array of esteemed designers, both emerging and seasoned, to offer novel perspectives and ideas that enrich the brand’s distinctive DNA and heritage. The "Rahul Mishra X Tod’s" project represents the latest experimental venture from this creative workshop.

This collaboration stands as a testament to the world-class savoir-faire from Italy’s Marche region, seamlessly integrating the exceptional craftsmanship of Tod’s with the deep-rooted artisanal traditions of India. The iconic items from the brand are elevated through the meticulous embroidery techniques of the Kaarigar artisans, a rich legacy of craftsmanship passed down through generations. 

The "Rahul Mishra X Tod’s" collection beautifully embodies the convergence of excellence from both worlds. It blends exquisite craftsmanship, unparalleled quality, and an innovative design code, resulting in pieces that are simultaneously luxurious and contemporary. The collection features the iconic Tod’s Gommino shoes, loafers, and open-toe shoes, all adorned with vibrant floral embroidery. These designs are meticulously executed on metallic napa leather, black velvet, and soft gold, showcasing the Tree of Life motif, a hallmark of Mishra’s design ethos.

Furthermore, the legendary Tod’s Di Bag and T Timeless shoulder bag are reimagined with an elevated touch. They are embellished with intricate floral embroidery in gold sari fabric, complemented by crystals, beads, and shimmering sequins. This Couture-level detailing imbues each piece with a narrative of high fashion and exceptional craftsmanship.
