The first bold passion of First Chalongrat Nobsamrong

In the world of Thai’s Y series, where numerous actors rotate in and out, bringing colour and dynamism to the industry, First Chalongrat Nobsamrong still remains one of the name that stands out. At his 26 years old, this young actor has become someone to watch, thanks to his impressive range of roles. He shared with #Legend_th that reaching this point in his career has been far from easy. Reflecting on his journey, he described his life as 'a series of coincidences.'

"Let me start by saying that I was once just a kid from the countryside and a badminton athlete," First shared with us. "I had the opportunity to train in Bangkok, and back then, every weekend I would wander around Siam. One day, I went to use the restroom at Siam Square, and as soon as I walked out, someone approached me. He introduced himself as a talent manager and said he wanted me to audition for a role. I ended up going to the casting, but unfortunately, I didn’t get the part, and that opportunity faded away for quite some time. It felt like the beginning of my journey into acting, but everything from that point on just came to me unexpectedly."

He continued, "After that, other modelling agencies started reaching out, asking me to audition for commercials. At the time, I didn’t really understand what being in an advert meant. All I knew was that I had to go to the casting. I remember on the first day, I was incredibly nervous, and I felt like I had to give it my all and make everything perfect. But I was so tense that I didn’t do as well as I’d hoped, and I was left feeling disappointed afterwards. However, the more I auditioned, the more opportunities I had to learn, without even needing to take acting lessons elsewhere. It felt like my path was splitting into many directions at that time," First explained. "Badminton was my main focus, then there were my studies, and, of course, the acting opportunities that started coming my way. Making me think, if I could give 100% to each of these areas, I could excel in all of them."
