"...Months ago, a captivating construction project began in the Pleonchit district, arousing everyone's curiosity about its purpose. The unveiling of the building's striking gold façade, adorned with whimsical accents, has since revealed that this stunning structure is the new "Dior Gold House in Bangkok," causing a wave of excitement as guests eagerly anticipate visiting this new landmark..."
As the first press group to experience this remarkable venue, #legend_th had the privilege of an exclusive sneak peek. The striking exterior is impossible to ignore, replicating the façade of 30 Avenue Montaigne—the historic birthplace of Parisian haute couture and the original home of Monsieur Dior’s Maison, established in 1946. The entire façade, adorned in gold—Dior's everlasting signature—showcases the skillful mosaic techniques of Thai artisans, embodying the rich, plural heritage of this enchanting country. Surrounded by lush gardens brimming with botanical delights, this expansive space unfolds across approximately 1,000 square metres.
Inside House, visitors are welcomed into an array of distinct realms, each thoughtfully designed and divided into several elegantly appointed rooms. This captivating space showcases the latest offerings from Maria Grazia Chiuri’s ready-to-wear collection and Kim Jones’ menswear, including shoes, accessories, bags, jewellery, and exquisite Dior Maison tableware. The ambience seamlessly blends sophistication with modernity, enhanced by the use of natural materials such as bamboo, wood, and raffia. Throughout the interiors, signature Dior motifs—including the lucky star, toile de Jouy, and the iconic Plan de Paris print—add to the allure, while the artistry of nine renowned Thai artists reflects Christian Dior’s deep appreciation for artistic expression.
Upon arriving in the lush surroundings, guests encounter installations from celebrated artists such as Boonserm Premthada, whose creations are crafted from elephant footprints, and Saran Yen Panya of 56th Studio, who has interpreted the iconic Bangkok tuk-tuk for Dior using natural materials and intricate weaving techniques. Adorned with animal sculptures by Wishulada Panthanuvong, crafted from waste materials, while armchairs embellished with colourful mosaics by Eggarat Wongcharit punctuate the boutique’s unique rooms.
Gold furniture designed by the duo from Sumphat Gallery, Rush Pleansuk and Philippe Moisan, captures the essence of nature and reflects the rich cultural interplay between two countries, achieving a harmonious balance between beauty and functionality, with each piece exhibiting its own distinct character. Adding a delightful surprise, Vassana Saima and Savin Saima of Vassana showcase a collection of Lady Dior bags crafted from bamboo, beautifully evoking traditional floral artistry in a dedicated exhibition space.
To complete the experience, Café Dior offers a refined pause infused with delectable elegance, providing a true feast for the senses. Melding gourmet pleasures with the artistry of French entertaining, it features an exclusive scenography by Korakot Aromdee that reimagines enchanting flora and fauna in bamboo. Here, the vibrant plants, flowers, and birds appear almost lifelike, creating a three-dimensional dreamscape. This exquisite setting hosts three-Michelin starred Chef Mauro Colagreco, who crafts a delectable menu inspired by nature—so dear to Christian Dior—as well as the House’s storied couture legacy.

Dressed in exquisite Dior ensembles, they exuded an unparalleled glamour and sophistication that illuminated the night.
The Dior Gold House in Bangkok stands as a testament to the brand's enduring legacy and commitment to innovation, artistry, and sustainability. This enchanting space not only showcases the finest in luxury fashion and craftsmanship but also serves as a vibrant cultural intersection where Thai heritage and French elegance gracefully intertwine.
