"...Saint Laurent is set to reopen its doors to the world of art and design at Rive Droite Paris, following an extensive renovation that has spanned over a year. The newly reimagined space embodies a distinctive architectural vision under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello. This collaboration with Donald Judd Furniture goes beyond mere retail design, it ignites a conversation between fashion, art, and industrial design..."

A highly influential figure in 20th-century art and furniture design, Donald Judd was a firm believer in the purity of form and materiality. In honour of this philosophy, the latest Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello collection showcases two exclusive surface finishes that pay homage to Judd’s aesthetic. Steel and white-coated aluminium have been reinterpreted and applied to his original metal furniture designs from 1984, offering a fresh perspective on his legacy.

This collaboration is not simply about creating furniture, it is about preserving and recontextualising the artistic spirit of a visionary who championed minimalism with profound impact. It is an artistic fusion where fashion extends beyond clothing, evolving into a platform for creativity and discourse. In this light, the newly transformed Saint Laurent Rive Droite is more than just a store, it is a space where art finds its voice.

To mark this grand reopening, an exhibition dedicated to Donald Judd will be unveiled on the first floor of the boutique. The showcase features an extraordinary selection of woodcuts, engravings, and lithographs spanning from 1961 to 1994. These works not only reflect Judd’s artistic vision but also explore his preoccupation with symmetry, proportion, and continuity, concepts that are deeply rooted in his three-dimensional creations.

The exhibition will run from 13 February to 19 March 2025, offering visitors a rare opportunity to experience a creative realm where past and present converge, where art and fashion intertwine, and where structure meets emotion.
