Nothing, the design-focused smartphone brand that won Time Magazine’s Best Inventions for Innovative Smartphone Design award in 2020, has officially launched its Phone (2a) model. Building on the success of the original Nothing Phone (1), this new model boasts even more impressive design and features.
The Phone (2a) features a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera system powered by the TrueLens Engine. This advanced algorithm suite helps ensure that every photo taken with the Phone (2a) is as close to reality as possible. Additionally, The phone also features with s a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that can accurately display over 1.07 billion colours and has a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits. Making it allowed all to enjoy a distortion-free viewing experience even in bright outdoor sunlight.
The power behind the aforementioned performance, the Phone (2a) is powered by the Dimensity 7200 Pro processor, developed through collaboration with MediaTek. It’s crafted using TSMC’s second-generation 4nm technology, further enhancing the speed and energy efficiency of this new masterpiece. Paired with a whopping 20GB of RAM and RAM Booster technology, the 8-core chip elevates the processing speed of the Phone (2a) to a maximum of 2.8 GHz, guaranteeing a swift and responsive user experience for any task.
Furthermore, in terms of design, the Phone (2a) remains a stunning creation that will leave no one disappointed. The two cameras arrangement resembles a pair of eyes, and the unibody 90° frame grants the phone delivering a timeless and sophisticated look.
Nevertheless, the exceptional inspiration is yet to end. The Phone (2a) is also designed with environmental consciousness in mind. Nothing has developed a novel recycling process, seamlessly integrating recycled plastic waste from the Ear (2) production line into this latest model. The phone also utilised recycled aluminium in the mid-frame, recycled PCBs, and recycled copper foil on the main PCB, and even the packaging is crafted from recycled fibres, eliminating the use of plastic and its long-term contribution to greenhouse gases. Leading to the genuine result of a cutting-edge design that comprehensively conveys a story of innovation, style, and environmental responsibility.
