In an exciting partnership, Asset World Corporation (AWC) has teamed up with Nobu to open “Nobu Bangkok,” the brand’s first restaurant in Thailand. Located at the EA Rooftop at The Empire, the restaurant promises to deliver a world-class dining experience, surrounded by stunning 360-degree panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River. This exquisite venue is home to the traditional Japanese flavours crafted by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, the founder and culinary genius behind the renowned Nobu brand, who brings over 30 years of culinary mastery to this debut.

The meticulous attention to detail at Nobu Bangkok is truly unparalleled. The essence of Nobu’s design language is beautifully reflected in the work of the acclaimed New York-based architectural firm, Rockwell Group. Drawing inspiration from the landscape and distinctive character of Bangkok, Rockwell Group masterfully encapsulates three key elements: the city, the river, and the mountains. Through delicate craftsmanship and intricate designs, the space harmoniously marries Thai artistry with the traditional Japanese aesthetic, creating a unique atmosphere that is both elegant and captivating.

Occupying the 57th floor of The Empire Tower, the restaurant transforms the space into a private dining haven. The design draws inspiration from traditional Japanese and Thai tea rooms, ensuring that each table offers guests an intimate setting where they can fully indulge in the culinary delights. Meanwhile, the 58th floor is home to an illuminated onyx sushi bar and mirrored ceilings, enhancing the spatial depth and atmosphere. The Nobu Rooftop Bar on the upper level offers a mesmerising 360-degree view of Bangkok’s skyline, complete with an infinity pool and a sleek boomerang-shaped bar. This combination of modernity and luxury sets the tone for an unforgettable evening in the city.

The menu at Nobu Bangkok retains the brand’s signature approach to gastronomy, blending Japanese techniques and ingredients with the bold flavours of Peru—a unique fusion inspired by Chef Nobu’s early career in Peru. The result is an array of iconic dishes, including the legendary Black Cod Miso, Yellowtail Jalapeño, and Toro Tartare. Each dish tells the story of Chef Nobu’s journey across the culinary world, offering an unforgettable experience of beauty and depth in every bite.
