"...Beneath the exquisite designs of Cartier’s Trinity collection, where the three rings seamlessly intertwine, lies a profound representation of diverse relationships, subtly conveyed. Cartier has once again embodied these values through the Trinity Centenary campaign..."

The Trinity jewelry collection was first conceived in 1924 in the form of rings, boasting stunning and groundbreaking designs that captivated eyes during that era. The three-ring design, crafted from 18k gold in three distinct colours, seamlessly combines into one with an enchanting design that sparked admiration. Upon Jean Cocteau’s request, Louis Cartier, the renowned French designer, crafted the ring. Cocteau, known for his talents as an artist, poet, and filmmaker, had envisioned a design symbolising the planets. Seeking Cartier’s expertise, together they transformed this vision into a stunning piece of jewellery. Their enduring friendship contributed to one of the most iconic collections of the house, which transcended boundaries, particularly during the height of the Art Deco jewelry trend.

Trinity has evolved beyond being solely a cutting-edge jewelry design to becoming an iconic symbol of Cartier, constantly adored and adorned by celebrities. Legendary figures such as Princess Diana, Grace Kelly, and Kylie Jenner have all been spotted wearing this jewelry, cementing its reputation as a timeless statement piece. Additionally, with this year marking the centenary of the collection, the Trinity Centenary campaign has been crafted to commemorate this special occasion.

Featuring Cartier Ambassadors Jackson Wang, JISOO, Labrinth, Paul Mescal, and Yara Shahidi, the campaign represents the diverse forms of love, enduring friendships, and eternal romance, reflecting the significance of each ring in the Trinity collection. The white gold symbolises friendship, rose gold conveys love, and yellow gold signifies loyalty. Each ambassador’s unique characteristics are seamlessly integrated, just like the interlocking rings of the Trinity collection, which move freely yet harmoniously together.

Jackson Wang

“I hope everyone can find their own standard of happiness and satisfaction. I try to establish emotional links that resemble Trinity’s values.”

JISOO

“For me, Trinity is a part of our lives, it links to the idea of diversity and allows me to embrace all my facets – and to encourage new generations to do so.”

Labrinth

“To feel, to love and to craft as a collective is a truly amazing experience. The collaboration in itself, joining diverse worlds and creating exchanges is a true symbolism of the universality of Trinity.”

Paul Mescal

“Trinity to me embodies friendship, love and kindness. It's an absolute honour to be a part of this campaign"

Yara Shahidi

“Trinity is an emblem of connectivity and love which is so fitting, as my own life is a result of the deep love I’ve felt from my community of support.”

Lastly, in the film, all five Cartier Ambassadors emerge from various directions across the expansive landscape, eventually converging on the path of the Trinity rings. Amidst Labrinth’s enchanting melody, which harmonises the voices of everyone into one, the scene beautifully depicts the richness of relationships merging seamlessly.
