Hermès unveils new boutique at Central Embassy

This transformation elevates the boutique to a landmark destination, offering an even more luxurious and innovative experience. As one of only three Hermès stores in Thailand, the new boutique features a striking curved exterior design, blending seamlessly with an interior that embodies both contemporary elegance and the brand’s signature craftsmanship in every detail.

The boutique’s design draws inspiration from bamboo structures, reflecting the beauty of nature and the traditional architecture of Bangkok. The exterior façade, crafted from champagne-hued metal resembling bamboo, filters natural light into the store, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. Combined with the carefully chosen colour palette, the space exudes warmth and sophistication.

Inside, the boutique showcases Hermès’ 16 métiers through thoughtfully arranged zones. Highlights include a beauty and fragrance section, a central display for women’s scarves, a fashion jewellery area on the right, and collections for equestrian pursuits and homeware on the left, seamlessly connected to the leather goods section. The boutique’s interior design was conceptualised by RDAI, a renowned architectural firm from Paris. Using wooden screens, radiant colours, and handcrafted rugs made by local artisans, the design achieves a perfect balance between modernity and timelessness.

Art plays a significant role in the boutique’s ambience, with pieces from Émile Hermès’ collection meticulously placed throughout. Notable works include a 3D horse sculpture made of wire by French sculptor Marie Christophe, abstract geometric paintings by Cécile Baillot-Jourdan, and black-and-white photographs of dancers by Tadzio. These artistic touches complement the store’s serene, understated, and captivating environment, encapsulating the essence of Hermès in every dimension.
