"....Snow White by Disney brings an enchanting tale to life in a spectacular live-action adaptation, beyond imagination. With a world-class creative team dedicated to designing every intricate detail, from the castle's grandeur and the village's charm to the mesmerising enchanted forest, each scene is meticulously crafted to immerse the audience in the most vivid and authentic fairy-tale experience…"

Behind this wonder lies the meticulous craftsmanship of the production team, who have harnessed cutting-edge technology to bring the fantasy world to life. Most sets were constructed at Pinewood Studios in London, enhanced with state-of-the-art visual effects to ensure every detail appears as if it has leaped straight from the pages of a storybook. Furthermore, the set design draws inspiration from medieval European architecture, seamlessly blending with details from the original animated version, allowing fans to experience a nostalgic yet refreshingly new take on the beloved tale.

One of the most striking sets is the Evil Queen’s castle, influenced by historic castles in Germany and France. Designed to reflect both the power and mystery of the character, the castle is complemented by a surrounding village carefully built to maintain a visual harmony, symbolising the relationship between the ruler and her people. Even small details, such as the opening and closing of the castle gates, serve as a symbolic representation of the kingdom’s transformation under the Queen’s rule.

Another highlight of the film is the mesmerising enchanted forest, which blends real-world locations with studio-built sets. Burnham Beeches, an ancient woodland in England, was chosen as the primary filming location to capture the forest’s mysterious atmosphere. Meanwhile, a combination of live animals and CGI techniques was used to create the woodland creatures as realistically as possible. Even the dwarfs’ cottage was designed with great attention to detail, from its cosy wooden structure to decorations that reflect the unique personalities of its inhabitants.

Beyond its stunning visual craftsmanship, Disney’s Snow White also boasts an outstanding creative team, including a screenplay by Erin Cressida Wilson, costume design by three-time Academy Award winner Sandy Powell, and a mesmerising score composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Every element comes together to create a truly magical cinematic experience.
