One of the most striking sets is the Evil Queen’s castle, influenced by historic castles in Germany and France. Designed to reflect both the power and mystery of the character, the castle is complemented by a surrounding village carefully built to maintain a visual harmony, symbolising the relationship between the ruler and her people. Even small details, such as the opening and closing of the castle gates, serve as a symbolic representation of the kingdom’s transformation under the Queen’s rule.

Burnham Beeches, an ancient woodland in England, was chosen as the primary filming location to capture the forest’s mysterious atmosphere. Even the dwarfs’ cottage was designed with great attention to detail, from its cosy wooden structure to decorations that reflect the unique personalities of its inhabitants.
