“…As year-end approaches, many seek venues to share cherished moments with family and loved ones. Restaurants and dining venues often top the list, setting the stage for quality time, a notion Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park fully embraces. This appreciation of togetherness has led to a unique project called ‘Culinary Compass,’ a marvellous culinary journey to inspire taste and elevate experiences at Asiatique The Riverfront, featuring a well-curated selection of four exquisite courses. #Legend_th is thrilled to join this journey and share the magic of this remarkable experience…”

This exceptional menu is crafted with precision, divided into four meticulously designed courses prepared by talented chefs from four distinguished dining venues, including Sirimahannop, Asiatique Ancient Tea House, The Crystal Grill House, and The Siam Tea Room, all residing within Asiatique The Riverfront. Each guest receives a personal ‘culinary compass’ to guide their tasting adventure, beginning here with a voyage aboard the storied Sirimahannop.

The allure of Sirimahannop lies not only in its vintage aesthetic, steeped in nostalgic charm but also in its rich history. This magnificent vessel is a replica of the last three-masted sailing ship in the Royal Thai Navy from the reign of King Rama V. It played a crucial role in transporting goods between Siam and Europe and was one of six warships that defended Bangkok during the Franco-Siamese War in 1893. Today, under the ownership of Asset World Corporation (AWC), this historical icon has been reimagined as a prime lifestyle destination along the Chao Phraya River.

From the very first step aboard, all guests are treated to a curated selection of the brand's signature mocktails and cocktails, perfectly paired with an enticing array of refined canapés. Notable selections include the House-Cured Salmon with Tom Yum Rice Cracker, Pomelo, Avocado, and Tomato-Basil Sauce, Smoked Duck with Lychee and Red Curry Sauce, and the indulgent Semi-Dried Tomato Bruschetta Tart. Each element is crafted with the utmost care, using only the finest ingredients, ensuring that every bite and sip is an experience of its own. Furthermore, to elevate the evening, guests are warmly introduced to the intricate interiors and the compelling history of the Sirimahannop, all set against the stunning riverside backdrop of the Chao Phraya.

The Sirimahannop is meticulously designed to welcome both local and international guests into a world where history and modernity converge. It comfortably accommodates up to 300 guests across two splendid levels, the Upper Deck and the Lower Deck. The Upper Deck, an open-air area for up to 200 guests, captivates with its magical riverside setting. Here, guests can savour bespoke cocktails, signature drinks, and exquisite small plates inspired by the ship’s historic trade routes, crafted from premium ingredients sourced from Thailand, Europe, and beyond.

Walking further into this enchanting space brings you to The Bridge, an intimate area with seating for six people, an ideal corner for groups to gather and converse. This exclusive section offers more than just refined cuisine and inventive beverages; it conceals a hatch leading to a hidden rum bar, an inviting enclave perfect for an intimate year-end celebration surrounded by rare rums and a refined atmosphere.

Stepping down to the Lower Deck, guests are immediately greeted by an opulent, indoor haven, evocative of the luxurious belly of a grand ship. Though more intimate than the expansive Upper Deck, this refined space is designed for those who crave an elevated sense of privacy or a distinguished venue for exclusive gatherings, grand banquets, or even weddings with a distinctive flair. Lavishly adorned with exquisite detailing, the Lower Deck exudes an atmosphere of timeless sophistication, comfortably hosting up to 100 guests. For those seeking the utmost in exclusivity, two ultra-private rooms, each accommodating six guests, stand as true sanctuaries – reserved for those who value privacy as the ultimate luxury.

“We are excited to welcome the world aboard Sirimahannop. This stunning ship will now take a journey back in time to the reign of King Chulalongkorn – one of the most illustrious periods of Thai history. This regal vessel will set the scene for unforgettable evenings and one-of-a-kind events, with original beverages and light gastronomy, while also shining a light on Thailand’s rich maritime heritage. Whether you’re seeking a stylish setting for drinks with your loved ones or a spectacular venue for life’s special moments, Sirimahannop will take you on a magical and memorable voyage”
