"...An exhibition showcasing an extraordinary collection of luxury jewellery masterpieces and rare antique treasures..."

High jewellery is akin to an exquisite work of art, meticulously crafted by the skilled hands of master artisans. To mark its 110th anniversary, CHAVANA has launched the grand exhibition Timeless Treasures: From the Far East; Influence of Oriental Aesthetics, a collection of antique treasures and masterful jewellery creations brought together in one place. Inspired by Eastern civilisation, this exhibition reflects the enduring beauty of Orientalism art. Open to the public from now until 30th August 2025, the exhibition is being held at ATT 19 Gallery, Charoenkrung Soi 30.

CHAVANA was established in 2014 by the fourth generation of a family legacy to commemorate the centenary of Mian Teck, the family’s pioneering jewellery business founded in 1914. Over the past century, Mian Teck has gained recognition in the international jewellery scene for its remarkable creations. CHAVANA continues this legacy, preserving traditional European craftsmanship while reinterpreting art, culture, and history from various eras around the globe. The result is a harmonious blend of modern sophistication and timeless elegance, embodied in jewellery pieces that are intricately detailed and enduringly beautiful.

The hallmark of CHAVANA lies in its expertise in advanced craftsmanship, represented by four foundational pillars. Including Beaded Edge: A technique where tiny beads are meticulously hand-formed and arranged along the jewellery’s edges. These beads, each less than 0.25 millimetres in diameter, are crafted with exceptional precision; Gemstone Mosaic: Drawing inspiration from ancient Roman mosaics, this technique involves arranging high-quality, multi-coloured gemstones in intricate patterns resembling paintings, resulting in extraordinary beauty.

Petit-Point: Derived from 18th-century French embroidery, this method involves crafting delicate patterns by thinning gold into threads as fine as silk, and Embroidered Gold: A process where metal is embossed, pierced, and textured to create multi-dimensional designs resembling embroidered motifs, ensuring that the central patterns stand out vividly.

The exhibition Timeless Treasures: From the Far East; Influence of Oriental Aesthetics features a wide array of extraordinary pieces from The Momentous collection. These one-of-a-kind creations are inspired by Eastern culture and mythology, with each piece symbolising hidden narratives and meanings. Highlights include the Dragon Gate Bracelet, Dragon Brooch, Butterfly Brooch, Pig-Dragon Brooch, and Ikebana on Lavender Jade Vase.

“To celebrate the 110th anniversary of our family's high jewelry business, which started in 1914 from a small shop and grew into a high-end jewelry export business recognized internationally. As the fourth-generation descendants, we established the ‘CHAVANA’ brand to continue creating high jewelry with distinctive identity and master craftsmanship. For this special occasion, we wanted to showcase rare and exquisite jewelry pieces for everyone to see.”
