Schiaparelli
Schiaparelli’s Spring/Summer 2025 haute couture collection, entitled ‘ICARUS’, presented garments with a modern twist, featuring naturally flowing, sculptural shapes. These pieces were adorned with intricate embroidery, crafted by expert artisans with the utmost care. The result was a collection that was both breathtakingly opulent and timelessly classic, in true Maison Schiaparelli style.
Giorgio Armani Privé
Giorgio Armani Privé’s Spring/Summer 2025 haute couture collection portrayed the image of the modern woman—individual, graceful, and sophisticated—through elegant and delicate couture garments. With slender, fluid silhouettes adorned with exquisite embroidery, the collection also drew inspiration from diverse cultures and continents. Elements from China’s architecture and colours, Polynesian landscapes, India’s opulence, Japan’s simplicity, and Africa’s majesty were seamlessly woven together into the collection’s beauty.
Jean Paul Gaultier
Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring 2025 haute couture collection, created by Ludovic de Saint Sernin under the name ‘Le Naufrage’, took inspiration from the sea and the notion of shipwrecks. With the brand’s signature delicate tailoring and the trompe l'œil technique, latex leather was used to create optical illusions. The collection offered silhouettes that evoked architectural forms, encapsulating the very essence of the brand’s spirit.
Gaurav Gupta
Gaurav Gupta’s Spring/Summer 2025 haute couture collection, titled ‘Across the Fire’, conveyed a journey of healing where light triumphs over darkness. The collection featured flowing silhouettes, adorned with delicate draping techniques, alongside the sparkling brilliance of crystals. These designs mirrored the undying, ever-moving flames of a passionate soul.
Miss Sohee
Miss Sohee made her haute couture debut at Paris Fashion Week, fusing traditional Korean artistry with modern sensibilities. Meticulously crafted, each piece hid the spirit of South Korea, from the Najeon Chilgi technique to silhouettes inspired by the Hanbok national dress, as well as embroidery that reflected the Folk Hwa art form. Her show was a stunning celebration of Korean heritage through a contemporary lens.
