Roger Vivier launches its first jewellery line

After Gucci, Prada and Armani introduced jewellery collections, Italian luxury shoemaker Roger Vivier has also started exploring this market. The brand just launched its first jewellery line, inspired by the house’s signature square shoe buckle, on December 6 in Paris. For the launch, Roger Vivier has collaborated with 22-year-old Cypriot model Sophia Hadjipanteli.

The collection includes crystal-pavéd bracelets, necklaces, earrings, hair clips and a tiara. Inspired by the brand’s Broche strass buckle, creative director Gherardo Felloni led the design of the new jewellery collection and debuts two new buckles: the Brochamour strass buckle and the Bouquet rhinestone buckle. All products are manufactured in the brand’s workshop in Italy, while the prices for each piece range from €230 to €680.

“Being able to develop my personal passion in my work is fantastic,” Felloni recently said. Carrying on Roger Vivier’s style, most of the pieces integrate elements such as gems, feathers and silk to display a feeling of luxury and nobility.

The new jewellery collection is now available in stores and will also be launched on a variety of luxury e-commerce platforms. To continue piquing the curiosity of its customers, Roger Vivier will also release a monthly series of new products, starting in the spring.
